Hi! I have personally had one dog walker for just over a year, and he is one of the few I trust with my crazy mutts! It pays to have someone you (or at least, your pets) can get to know and love - and for you to know your home is safe and cared for when you’re away. I own a 100 lb male GSD, an 85 lb shep/lab, and an approx 50-60 lb mix that I take great care to train and walk, hike, and run on a daily basis. They are my favorite thing in the world! I know what it means to love your animals and, and how important it is to find the right person to care for them. I love to hike and would be more than happy to bring your pup with me - or go for a shorter walk near home. Whatever suits your needs! I have several years of house and dog sitting experience (it just sort of happened through word of mouth), puppy training experience, and love dogs of all sizes. My longest stint was a month long stay for a family with 4 large dogs (2 standard poodles and 2 border collies). I have a full schedule open at the moment!! I recently left my job and would love to fill some of my time building clientele. I take care to communicate with the owner, send a million pictures, and read through any notes that have been left for me. Each pet is different, and even act differently around individual people so I try my hardest to make pets feel as confident and cozy as possible. My pets get a lot of play time throughout the day when I’m home - a tired dog is a happy dog. :)
