Pet care experience

Animal lover+ vetmed background

Hi! I’m a veterinary professional with over 12 years of hands-on experience in animal care, and caring for pets is truly what I love most. With my background in veterinary medicine, I’m comfortable handling everything from healthy, active pets to those who need a little extra support. I have experience caring for geriatric pets, special needs animals, and those requiring complex medication routines, including diabetics and other medical conditions. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in knowledgeable, capable hands. I offer: • In-home boarding in a safe, structured environment • Drop-in visits in your home • Care tailored to your pet’s specific needs and routine For in-home boarding, I use a “crate and rotate” system when needed. This simply means pets take turns having free time to ensure everyone stays safe, stress-free, and comfortable—especially important when pets don’t already know each other and is very helpful for rescue pets , high anxiety and elderly animals as it offers a more relaxed and one on one environment where they can be as stress free as possible while in my care. During their time out, your pet will get plenty of one-on-one attention, playtime, and enrichment, so they’re not missing out on love or activity. I do have children in the home who are taught to respect animals and understand boundaries. For everyone’s safety and comfort, they have little to no direct contact with boarding pets. My priority is maintaining a calm, controlled, and safe environment for every animal in my care. My goal is always to provide a safe, low-stress, and loving environment while keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. If your pet has special needs or you just want someone with a trained eye looking after them, I’d love to help!

Brittney is an amazing sitter. She has taken care of my 2 large dogs (golden retriever and bernese mountain dog) several times. She sticks to their scheduled outings and went above and beyond when one of my boys chewed/swallowed something he shouldn’t have. She also found our carpet cleaner to clean up an explosive poop situation without hesitation or complaint. Brittney is hands down one of the best pet sitters we have ever had. We love her so much we switched our dogs to the veterinary office she works at.

Brittney is the most amazing pet sitter. We have 4 dogs and 3 cats. Our dogs are large and one is special needs. The only reason we are able to have family time is because I trust Brittney so much. She’s compassionate, conscientious, caring and has so much animal experience. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our animals, and I am so thankful that we have her. I recommend her to everyone we know that asks about pet sitting.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, I provide a safe, structured, and low-stress environment tailored to each pet’s needs. I use a crate and rotate system because my personal dogs are not always social with others. This ensures that every pet stays safe and comfortable while still receiving plenty of one-on-one attention, playtime, enrichment, and proper rest. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and any medications or special care they require. In your home, I offer drop-in visits designed to keep your pet comfortable in their own space. During each visit, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and medication administration if needed. I also keep an eye on your pet’s overall health and behavior, so you have peace of mind while you’re away. With my veterinary background, I’m experienced in caring for senior pets, special needs animals, and those requiring more complex medical care, and I always prioritize safety, consistency, and a calm environment.
