Safety, trust & environment
I provide loving, attentive, and reliable care for pets both in my home and in my client’s home. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive daily exercise, bathroom breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routines, and any special instructions provided by the owner to help them feel safe and comfortable. In my client’s home, I help maintain the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress while also keeping the home clean and secure. During walks and visits, I prioritize safety, patience, and positive interaction so every pet feels cared for and loved while their owner is away.
Information Brittany G. would like to know about your pet
Before watching a pet, I think it’s very important to know a few key things ahead of time so I can give them the best care possible and keep them safe and comfortable. Some important things I like to know include: * Feeding schedule and portion sizes * Allergies or medical conditions * Medications and instructions * Bathroom and walking routine * Energy level and favorite activities * Temperament around people, children, or other animals * Any fears or triggers (thunder, loud noises, separation anxiety, etc.) * House rules (furniture, crate training, sleeping arrangements) * Emergency contact and veterinarian information * Favorite toys, treats, and comfort items Every pet is different, so learning their routine and personality ahead of time helps me make the experience as stress-free, fun, and loving as possible for both the pet and owner.
A typical day
I like to keep pets both happy and mentally stimulated, so I mix play, exercise, and bonding time based on each animal’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that usually means plenty of outdoor walks, games like fetch or tug-of-war, and sometimes simple training exercises (like practicing “sit” or “stay”) to keep their minds active. If they’re more energetic, I’ll add longer walks or play sessions; if they’re older, we keep things gentler and relaxed. For cats, I focus on interactive play—things like wand toys, laser pointers, or puzzle feeders—plus cozy cuddle time if they enjoy affection. I also make sure they have quiet, comfortable spaces to relax. For smaller pets (like rabbits, guinea pigs, or birds), I make time for safe exploration, gentle interaction, and enrichment activities that match their needs. No matter the pet, I pay attention to their routine and personality—some love constant play, others prefer calm companionship. The goal is always to make them feel safe, engaged, and cared for while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs and cats for many years and have a true love for animals. As a pet owner myself with 2 dogs. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and caring to look after your furry family members. Animals have always been wonderful companions in my life, and I enjoy providing them with love, attention, exercise, and care while helping pet owners feel at ease. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or companionship, I treat every pet like they are my own.
