I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals, and most of my experience comes from my two now-senior dogs, Butterball and Millie. Growing up with them taught me hands-on skills such as administering eye drops, giving oral medications, and providing gentle senior care. I’m also a very active person, so I love taking dogs on long neighborhood walks, beach trips, or even hikes when appropriate. Butterball is a notoriously picky eater, so I’ve become very comfortable helping picky eaters feel relaxed and confident during mealtime. In addition to dogs, I’ve fostered cats of all ages for the past two years, from neonates to seniors, which has taught me how to meet their different developmental and medical needs. I currently have one cat, Beanie, who enjoys playtime, outdoor exploration on a harness, and plenty of cuddles, and I bring that same level of attention and patience to every cat I care for.
