I am an absolute animal lover and cannot wait to make new pet friends in the neighborhood. I grew up in a home with multiple dogs and cats; I even lived on a farm until I was 6, helping to care for the horses and sheep. While in undergrad, I walked dogs in Montreal before moving to New York City to pursue post-graduate studies. In NYC, I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter with a company called Pampered Pets. I loved spending time with my regular dog companions, tailoring each walk and overnight to their needs. I have worked with a wide variety of dog breeds ranging in size from Yorkies (Joey, Rocky, and Rambo) to Finnish Spitz (Ammo) to Newfies (Bailey). While I love them all, I have an especially soft spot for big dogs! I think it is important to understand each pet's routine, what commands they are familiar with, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, and how they interact with other dogs and people. My first priority is keeping your pet safe and happy while you are away.
