Active Dog Walker Flexible Schedule
I am an absolute animal lover and cannot wait to make new pet friends in the neighborhood. I grew up in a home with multiple dogs and cats; I even lived on a farm until I was 6, helping to care for the horses and sheep. While in undergrad, I walked dogs in Montreal before moving to New York City to pursue post-graduate studies. In NYC, I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter with a company called Pampered Pets. I loved spending time with my regular dog companions, tailoring each walk and overnight to their needs. I have worked with a wide variety of dog breeds ranging in size from Yorkies (Joey, Rocky, and Rambo) to Finnish Spitz (Ammo) to Newfies (Bailey). While I love them all, I have an especially soft spot for big dogs! I think it is important to understand each pet's routine, what commands they are familiar with, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, and how they interact with other dogs and people. My first priority is keeping your pet safe and happy while you are away.

My current apartment does not allow pets, but I would be happy to pet sit or drop-in to your home, as needed, to care for your animals, assist with crate training, or keep them company while you are away.

Zeitplan
I moved to DC after completing Peace Corps service in North Macedonia and am currently self-employed. I work from home and would love to get out of the house during the day to stretch my legs with your furry friends. I am an active person; I love cold weather and enjoy walking on the trails in Rock Creek Park and behind Bancroft Elementary. I have a flexible schedule and work from home. I am happy to find the best routes and walk lengths to fit your pets' needs!
