The safety of your pet is my number one priority. For dogs, I tend to avoid other dogs on walks unless you point out to me any dogs you know that it's ok for your dog to greet and interact with. I would rather your dog be safe than hurt. For cats, I make sure they are always kept inside (unless instructed otherwise with a catio or other) and are away from harms way.
