Growing up we had a small zoo - cats and dogs, horses, birds, reptiles, hampsters and even a tarantula. My family was involved in AKC dog shows, both conformation and utility, and I helped for many years. I used to train and show mainly Rottweilers and Akitas. I currently have one Siamese cat who I love and care for, she is quite the spoiled thing. Although not a current dog owner, I love being around and playing with dogs. The bigger, the better IMO. Please tell me all about your pet and their needs. Do they eat at a specific time? Are there certain streets your dog only likes to walk? Will I be administering medication? The more info, the better! If I have questions during the visit, I will reach out, or if you need to remind me of something, I will respond as quickly as I can. For first time clients, I schedule an in-person meet and greet with owners and pets to ensure we are all a good fit for each other. If that works for you, I am happy to set something up once you reach out. What you can expect: house sittings begin in the evening and go until noon the next day. I send an evening and morning report along with pictures! 1 walk after dinner and a quick outing before bed, another walk in the morning after breakfast. If the stay is longer than 1 night, an afternoon walk is scheduled. During the day, I may be running errands or taking care of other clients. I will not be gone for longer than a couple hours at most.
