I am currently working from home, and can play with your furry baby daily. In addition, I can enlist our 3-year-old Boxer mix, who might be an even better playdate and has endless stamina ;). Since I am traveling at times, it's better to schedule in advance, please.

I have a big (especially for DC standards) fenced-in yard for our dog and yours to play in. I can also take them for a walk at the arboretum if they do well on the leash. I don't crate my dog, but I'm happy to crate yours if you prefer. I am experienced with senior dogs who need medication, but I'd love to meet your senior first and see if it's a good fit for our 3-year-old. She's super loving and enthusiastic, and I don't want your senior to get overwhelmed by her antics. This is a non-smoking and calm household.

I grew up with dogs (I had at least two at a time, sometimes more), and I boarded and trained them in the past in Europe. After living in DC for 10 years now, I'd like to open my house to pups that need a home away from home, as I have the time (I primarily work from home) and the space (big, fully fenced-in yard, especially for DC standards) to welcome four-legged guests. I have cared for senior dogs that needed medication. Ideally, your pooch vibes well with my loving and playful 3-year-old boxer mix, so the pack is happy. I am open only to house-trained dogs (no puppies, unfortunately) and want to meet your dog before committing to boarding him or her for the first time, as I'm sure you'd want to meet me and my pooch as well. Bettina took great care of my Samson over the holiday weekend! Her pup got along great with him and they were taken on nice long walks together. I will be leaving Samson with her and her family in the future without doubt!
