Dairy farm girl living in a suburb.
Born and raised on a dairy farm in rural Ontario, Canada, I've spent my entire life taking care of all kinds of pets and livestock, including dogs, cats, cows, horses, and chickens. I currently own an adorable Holland Lop bunny and very happy-go-lucky Australian Shepherd puppy, but really miss the other critters I grew up with! Having a great deal of experience with farm-sitting and pet-boarding, I'm comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes. Please note, however, that I don’t provide care for Pit Bull or Pit Bull mixes. I’m also experienced in caring for newborn critters, including bottle feeding if necessary, and am able to administer medication orally or via injection to pets who require more intensive care. As a stay-at-home wife who teaches piano from home a couple of days per week, I offer overnight and daytime care throughout the week and on weekends. I have plenty of time to devote to your pets, providing them with the loving care you’d expect and they're used to. My husband is also an animal lover who'll be assisting as his schedule permits. A big, ol’ softy, Spencer thoroughly enjoys reading with a cat in his lap, so by all means, drop your fabulous feline off and rest assured he or she will be well loved on! Mature dogs and pups will delight in plenty of playtime in the large fenced yard behind our single-dwelling home, as well as on-leash walks in our beautiful neighborhood or nearby park. Cats and kittens will be given free roam of the house, for the most part, able to enjoy perching on the back of our sofa while watching the world go by out our front window.

My 3 dogs (2 puppies and 1 geriatric dog) stayed with Bethany over Spring Break and we could not have been happier. This was the first time they stayed with her. The pups returned happy, tired, and clean! We also got daily photos and videos. Izzy, my older dog, can't keep up with the puppies anymore and so Bethany took her for a walk by herself so that Izzy could walk at a leisurely pace. Definitely recommend Bethany, she's great at communication and truly cares about the pups.
I've used Bethany & Spencer twice now for my pup, Denver. Both times they have been so easy to work with and so loving to my very shy pup. They have a big, fenced in backyard for him to run and play with the other dogs. She sent regular pictures and videos of him so I could see how he was doing while I was away. He was there for a few weeks this past time and she even gave him a bath which was VERY MUCH appreciated. Highly recommend using them- I will certainly use them again in the future.
Bethany was a blessing. We didn’t worry about our dogs at all. The pictures and videos were so nice. Definitely using Rover again and would strongly suggest Bethany!
Bethany was great! Took amazing care of our Riley! Sent photos and videos keeping us updated daily which kept my mind at ease since this was his first overnight stay with someone. He came home one tired pup! Riley will certainly be back for future sleepovers! Thanks again!
Our dogs second weeklong stay with Bethany and Spencer and she not only came home extra clean and happy but we didn’t worry about her for a minute! Highly recommend!
Thus was our second stay with Bethany. Enzo came hime relaxed and calm. Will keep using her as long as I can.

Appreciative of the fact that those looking for in-home pet care prefer a quiet, family environment, as opposed to a boarding-type facility, I purposefully and carefully limit the number and types of pets I'll take in at any given time. You may rest assured your pet will receive a lot of individual attention in a calm environment while staying with us.
