I am experienced in taking care of dogs including those with high needs that require medications and puppies as young as 3 months. I have had wonderful experience with walking, boarding and overnight stays over weekends. I am very engaging when I care for dogs, always making sure they get plenty of play and exercise if they are physically able, and I enjoy incorporating some basic training as a part of that play. I am sensitive to different needs of each dog and I socially accommodate for each of their needs. I am a very patient and warm caretaker.

She was thorough in getting the information she needed to provide quality care, made a real effort to connect with Luna, stepped up to provide some extra care that was needed at the time, and provided me with the updates I needed to feel confident about Luna's time without us. Ayah is magnificent with our dog, Berkeley. Walks, training and lots of loving is included in the wonderful package that Ayah delivers everyday. Berkeley goes crazy every time Ayah arrives at our home. They have become great friends - and we are thankful for Ayah’s tremendous care and attention she provides to Berkeley.
I would highly recommend Ayah to care for anyone’s pet. We had a meet and greet and one overnight with my sweet dog. Highly trustworthy individual and would certainly book again!
Ayah is such a great walker and care taker! Not only does Ayah take such good care of my sweet Pippin but she also works on basic training which is super important to me. She’s both walked and boarded Pippin and each time I am confident that she is being well taken care of so I can focus on either my trip or work day. Ayah is the best!
Ayah is so patient, understanding, and has handled my reactive dog so well. She’s willing to take the time to let Murphy warm up to her. She uses positive reinforcement to help Murphy stay calm. I highly recommend her for dog care!
Ayah is a fantastic caretaker and has done an above-and-beyond job when I've really needed help with my cat, even when asking on short notice due to a family emergency. Although my cat was a bit afraid of her before, I can tell she spent enough time at my place for my cat to start trusting her, even though there wasn't anything very rewarding about sitting around while a cat hides. She followed the care instructions perfectly, and even dealt with the litter box when i only needed her for one night and said she could ignore the litter. Very caring person that you can trust with your babies and in your home!

Schedule
I build my schedule around my responsibilities and planned pet care but I typically wake up around 7am and go to sleep around midnight. I am used to frequent outings for dogs because I raised mine from when he was very young and he needed to go out about every hour. I have learned to be very patient and read signs of discomfort and needs in order to keep all animals safe, happy, healthy, and comfortable.

Safety, trust & environment
I have close access to a secluded dog park and beautiful green spaces in a very walkable neighborhood. If I am watching a dog in a new area, I always look for similar spaces where dogs can safely engage with their environment. Within the home, I like to combine toys and training to get the most out of my time there. I am very affectionate towards cats and will help them get their daily activity in. I know some cats are nervous and need their space, and I can always accommodate for their individual needs.
Pets
A typical day
I like to practice basic training with dogs, introduce them to new toys, play fetch, frisbee, and exercise together. I am also happy to relax and watch a movie with a dog or cat who is feeling lower energy. I am open to introducing pets to puzzles and games to keep their minds active.
