I am currently earning a doctoral degree in physical therapy, but I have a very open and flexible schedule in the summer. I have a lot of availability and am willing to accommodate for the dog’s needs and yours!

I have two dogs of my own, both very different. My australian shepherd, the high energy dog, loves long walks, fetch, bath time, etc. She is always ready to tug of war or chase me around the yard. My rat terrier/jack russell mix loves napping and eating, which is very relatable. He mostly enjoys cuddling on the couch watching a movie and burying himself in warm laundry. Every dog I've watched has been unique. Whether your dog needs 10 walks a day or can barely walk, I'm here to help!

I have lots of experience with dog walking through many hours spent volunteering at the humane society. I took on lots of dog-sitting and walking jobs growing up for neighbors, family friends, and people from church. I have experience spending the night while owners are on vacation, dropping in for visits throughout the day, giving medication and vitamins at designated times, and going on long walks. I have two dogs of my own and understand that each dog is unique and has unique needs and challenges.

Ashtyn would make an excellent pet sitter! She has frequently cared for two of our family dogs that are uniquely different breeds. We have used her for single days here and there and for extended times, like vacations. Ashtyn has shown responsibility by following the animals' care plans, especially with feedings (times and amounts) and medications (as needed). When she has had questions, Ashtyn hasn't hesitated to ask them face-to-face or send a text for clarifying information. She has also communicated with us about how the pets are doing, sending us updates and fun pictures. With our fur babies, Ashtyn has exhibited a genuine love for animals by being patient, sensitive, affectionate, and playful. Whenever we have returned home, she has kept things tidy, and the animals have been relaxed and happy. With Ashtyn, your pets would be in great hands!

Ashtyn is very kind and caring especially when it comes to animals. I have trusted her on multiple occasions to take care of my Boston Terrier, Zella. Everytime I return, Zella has been happy and I know she was taken care of very well. I am very pleased with Ashtyn and the way she treated Zella!
