Loving care when you're not there
Hi! I'm Ashley. I'm currently a junior at Columbus State University, where I am planning to receive my degree in biology (with a interest in pre-vet med). I live in Harris County with my family, and our two dogs. I am that crazy dog lady that loves her dogs more than she loves people, and I wouldn't change it for the world. Most of my experience as a pet sitter comes from working at two veterinary clinics as a kennel assistant, but the experience that got me into animal care, is being in charge of my own dog's well-being . When I'm not busy working or going to school, I love to play, cuddle, groom, taking care of, and walking them, and I would love the chance to do these things with your pets too! I am an energetic undergraduate student with a flexible schedule, quick responses, and lower pricing and look forward to meeting you and your pets! I charge per day not per dog unless you have 3+ animals and we can discuss that in our conversation. I'm PAWsitive you and your furbaby will love me ;)

I've been doing this for a while now so I have become very comfortable with staying at your house and I'm very good at keeping everything locked up and cleaned up. I was raised on the principle of leaving it better than you found it so when you get back from your stay, I try my best to make it look like I was never there or even better than you left it

Ashley did a good job of taking care of our two dogs, one of which is diabetic and almost blind.
Ashley was initially very responsive and friendly. She had excellent reviews and this was our first time using rover and the having a house sitter. I don’t like to write bad reviews, but feel others could benefit from my experience. We initially asked her to come around 6 PM as we were leaving at 1 PM that afternoon for a trip. She called me the day we were supposed to leave and told me she could not be at our home until around 8 PM which was not ideal; but I said was OK. At that night 10 PM no one had been to the house. I called her and she didn’t answer. Sent a text and there was no answer. Our dog had been at home for almost 9 hours without going outside. She finally answered the second time I called and just said she was on the way. She did not offer any explanation or apology or anything as to why she was so late. We were several hours from home and this really worried me as I wasn’t sure if she was going to show up or not at this point. If we didn’t have a ring system we would have had no idea. She then texted me the second day saying she would not be able to let our dog out that afternoon because she had previous plans, which she did not disclose to us initially either. I only got one picture while we were gone. Overall it was not an experience I would recommend.
Ashley has been super helpful with daily walks for a last minute request! Very responsive and has had great accommodating availability! Clove is always happy to see her!
The pups were well cared for all weekend!
We’ve had Ashley dogsit for us twice now in our home and she’s great. I don’t have to worry about our golden retriever that has a destructive streak and our older aussie while she’s there.
Ashley was so sweet! Our dogs can be a bit of an handful and I always worry about leaving them, but she loved them like they were her own! Our house was nice and clean when we got back and she even left us home made dog treats!

As a college student, this is my full time job at the moment so when I'm not in class (no more than a couple hours at a time) I'm able to give your pups my full attention
