Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know their daily routine, any medical needs, food or treat preferences, and how they do on walks or around other animals. Are there any quirks or behaviors I should be aware of—like leash pulling, separation anxiety, or fear of loud noises? I also want to know what comforts them, what they love, and what boundaries you’d like me to maintain. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home!
A typical day
Your pet’s day with me will be filled with love, play, and plenty of tail wags or purrs! We’ll start with a nice walk or some active playtime to get their energy out. Depending on your pet’s personality, we might enjoy a game of fetch, a stroll around the neighborhood, or just some good ol’ snuggles on the couch. I always make time for enrichment—treat puzzles, belly rubs, brushing, or even practicing basic commands (with your permission). I follow your pet’s feeding and potty schedule closely and send regular updates, so you always know how your fur baby is doing. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and totally loved while you’re away.

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’ve been providing pet care on Rover since 2018 and have loved every minute of it. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I’ve cared for pets of all shapes and sizes, from a tiny Maltese and a feisty chihuahua to a gentle Great Dane and even a pregnant cat who gave birth to six kittens under my watch. I currently share my home with two wonderful cats, Wario and Paloma, who keep me on my toes with their big personalities. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, dedicated playtime, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe and happy. I’m available all day Mondays and Tuesdays for pet sitting, drop-ins, or walks, and I treat every pet like family. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend!

This was our first time using Rover for our two pups Pal and Bible! We weren’t too sure what to expect. But when we met Ashley she answered all of our questions and then some, which put our minds at ease. Through the pictures and videos sent we could see that our sweet pups were having the time of there lives with Ashley, and above all else, were being well taken care of. Our family will definitely be using Ashley again, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!
Ashley did an INCREDIBLE job watching my dog. I was nervous to book someone so last minute but she got in touch with me right away and made me feel at ease. I was updated throughout her whole stay with pictures of my dog, who when I came back home was well fed and exercised. I will definitely be booking her again next time I go out of town!
Ashley was amazing with our pups (and Guinea pig and fish), her communication, and with our home! She sent us photos of our pets which we missed so much while we were away, and it brought us great comfort. Our home was clean when we arrived and the sweet card she left for us to see when we returned home was the icing on the cake! We will absolutely use her again and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pet/house sitter. Thank you again, Ashley!!
One word, WOW. As soon as I had my meet and greet with Ashley I was put at ease that my dog, Walter, would be in great hands. Throughout the stay Ashley updated me with photos, videos, and updates, they had a great time together! I will DEFINITELY be using her again to watch Walter. 10/10 would recommend!
