A LITTLE ABOUT ME: My name is Annette, but I go by the name Sylvia. I love all animals, but especially cats and dogs. I have raised kittens from birth and have had several cats and dogs throughout my life, so I have grown to be very compassionate and nurturing toward animals. Sadly, my senior dog Poki passed (10/21), so I no longer have a playmate or canine companion for your pups. What I CAN provide for your pups is lots of attention, love, and daily exercise! A happy, healthy, dog is what I strive for most. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have regarding drop off/pick up times, concerns you may have, what your dog's day will be like during their stay, special accommodations/needs, etc. without obligation :) *Note*: I am not able to sit any dogs that exhibit aggressive behavior, mount excessively, or dogs that have excessive drooling.

Annette was absolutely amazing, I had a last minute request and thankfully she was able to accept! Annette was very accommodating, gives you the opportunity to do a meet and greet before booking and provides plenty of updates. My Zoe seems more than happy to be with her and will definitely book again!
Sylvia watched our pups for the weekend (July 11th-13th) and no matter how many times she’s watched our pups we won’t stop being amazed at how good she is to them. The most important part of it is that she treats them like her own. One of our pups is a senior and has a lot of special needs and she always gives him all the specialized attention he needs. We couldn’t dream of a better person to take of our pups Stevie and Cooper than Sylvia. They absolutely love going to her house!
Since our meet-and-greet, Annette’s calm and professional demeanor made us feel so comfortable leaving our shy, nervous baby in her care. During our dog’s care, she communicated well and, best of all, sent so many pictures. Within hours, my dog was lying down and made herself oh, so comfortable —giving me such relief during my time away. I look forward to her taking care of her again 💚
I highly recommend Annette! She took amazing care of my furry baby while I was away. Her excellent communication and daily photo updates gave me peace of mind. She went above and beyond to make sure my picky eater was eating, took her on daily walks, and was incredibly accommodating when I was delayed picking her up. Most importantly, my senior furry baby was happy, comfortable, and clearly loved being with Annette and her husband. I knew she was in the best hands. ❤️

SITTER SCHEDULE I'm typically home full-time except when running errands or attending personal appointments. There is always someone home if I happen to be away! I try to be flexible within reason for pick-up and drop-off times, however, *please be considerate* and provide an accurate window for pick up and drop off. I ask that you provide an accurate 1-2 hour window MAX for pick-ups/drop-offs. I understand sometimes flights land late or life happens, so, a text or call as soon as feel you might be a little late goes a long way! *Note*: Please bear in mind, any pick ups after 8:30 pm will result in a charge for an additional night unless initially agreed upon before booking. ABOUT MY YARD I have a large, spacious 3500 sq.ft. backyard with mainly a grassy area and partial pavement. The yard is fenced in and secured so your precious pups will be kept safe. WHERE WILL MY DOG SLEEP? Your dog is welcome to sleep inside my home on a dog bed-either their own or one that I can provide. Crating is also an option! Whichever you prefer, just let me know!

WHERE WILL MY DOG BE WALKED? Walks will be taken around my neighborhood. I typically prefer to walk your dogs in the early mornings or early evenings, when the weather permits. ABLE TO ADMINISTER MEDICATION ORALLY? Yes :) CONVENIENT LOCATION I'm located close to the LAX airport which is convenient if you're traveling. Both short and longs stays are ok with me!

TIME SPENT WITH YOUR DOG(S) Dog will be supervised at all times as well as played with! Every single dog I care for is walked at least once a day (given that they do well on a leash and/or are not too close to the weight limit) during their stay for proper exercise. I also brush them out before pickup, if time permits. Please pack your doggy's favorite treats, toys, harness, leash, and their bed so they can feel even more at home! I want your dogs to feel comfortable and enjoy their stay all while providing you with daily pictures, and texts (and sometimes videos!) to give you peace of mind. LAST MINUTE STAYS I typically ask that requests are made at least 3 days in advance, BUT last minute stays are ok with me if I'm available. Please be aware that I cannot hold any dates unless you are booked with me to guarantee my availability. (To further clarify, asking questions and putting in a request does not guarantee a spot unless booked). I answer all of my requests in the order they are received, keep my calendar updated as frequently as possible, and I always answer requests as soon as I can. If you do not respond the same day, it is highly likely your requested dates may be booked by another person, as I then move on to the following request. In short, the more communication and the sooner the response, the better for both of us!

- Sorry, I typically do not sit any dogs over 40lbs! I have a difficult time walking larger dogs and for various other reasons I can no longer watch dogs over this weight limit. This is in the best interest of both myself as well as your precious pups! Thank you for your understanding! *PLEASE NOTE*-senior dogs with incontinence (potty issues) or dogs who are not potty-trained will be charged at the puppy rate to compensate for additional messes, time, and clean-up. Please let me know if your dog(s) are accident prone up-front! Additional things I'd like to know: Emergency contact(s) , the dog's temperament (dog must be kid friendly), if the dog has been vaccinated, if they've been spayed/neutered, and their feeding schedule.
