I’ve had dogs throughout my life. I’ve had mixed breeds, Labrador Retrievers, and Dalmatians. I currently have a miniature long haired male dachshund. I’ve taken obedience training classes with my pups through one of the most popular training facilities in the area. One of my dogs (a Dalmatian) was deaf and required a little more specialized training. I’ve always had a passion for dogs and realize the time and care that goes into being a responsible pet owner. I’ve owned three dogs at a time and my dogs went with me on walks (yes, all three by myself), to the dog park and on camping trips. One of my closest friends is a veterinarian and on speed dial in the event of any emergencies. I’m retired after working for 30 years at the U. S. District Court, so my schedule is pretty flexible. My boarding rates are based on a 24 hour sit (i.e., if your dog is dropped off at noon, his pick up time should be noon). Additional fees may apply. For house sitting, my fee is for a 12 hour window (i.e., 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m) with one drop in. Any additional drop ins will incur my drop in fee. I prefer not to do any long term jobs where you need your pet walked every day.

I have a fenced in yard for outside play time. I also have a swimming pool. Note that if your pet is outside, so am I. I do not leave your pet unattended while outside whether it’s your home or mine. I have both a large and small crate available if crating is necessary.

Angie was very responsive and communicative. I haven’t gotten a dog walker in years and was worried about selecting the wrong person but Angie was the best choice. She was on time, understanding, and provided solid feedback. I would rebook her services if ever needed again.

Angie was excellent! She was available on short notice for a holiday weekend. My shy dog warmed up to her quickly. She kept me updated the entire weekend with pictures. I will definitely be using Angie again!
Outstanding care given to my puppy.
I can’t even put into words how grateful we were to find Angie! Our boys are not used to us traveling or to new people. Angie was patient, so kind, and extremely considerate of their needs and quirks. She kept us updated every step of the way and sent so many pictures and videos so we didn’t have to worry even for a moment! She took extra time and care to make sure our boys were comfortable and felt safe! We finally feel like we can have a night or two away from home now that we have someone we trust with our boys! Zeitplan
When boarding your pet, rest assured they will receive plenty of play time and attention. I may need to leave my home to attend to other pet care needs from other clients but rarely will I be gone for longer than 2 hours. I have crates available if necessary while I’m away.

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs, quirks, etc. I require all pets be fully vaccinated and up to date on shots. It’s not a deal breaker, but if I’m doing drop-in visits, I prefer that you have a fenced in yard. For house sitting, cameras are fine but, for privacy reasons, I ask that you let me know you have security cameras and they are not in the sleeping and bathroom areas.
