Pet care experience

Play, Cuddles & Peace of Mind

I’m a certified veterinary assistant with extensive rescue and foster experience, having fostered over 2,000 dogs throughout the years. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s truly my passion. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, temperaments, and medical needs, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m experienced in administering medications, including oral medications, injections, eye medications, and other more involved treatments, so I’m very comfortable caring for seniors, special needs pets, and dogs requiring extra medical support. What sets me apart is the level of individualized care and attention I provide. Whether your dog needs structured routines, extra patience, lots of playtime, or simply someone calm and compassionate to make them feel secure, I treat every pet as if they were my own family member. My goal is always to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where both pets and owners can feel completely at ease.

We just returned from vacation. Thank you, Angela, very much for taking such good care of our dog! Usually we leave him with family members but this time our kids had a time conflict, so we had to find a sitter for a few days on a very short notice. Greatly appreciate your stepping in, Rumata seemed happy and we are so glad! Thanks again

Angela is fantastic! She took care of our rescue dog with a few behavior quirks like an absolute expert. She is very responsive and sent lots of pictures- he looked like he was having fun playing! She is clearly a dog lover (she even ran her own rescue) and treats your dog like her own. She really went above and beyond for us, including with drop off and pick-up (ex. offered to pick up our dog when we were juggling a tighter airport schedule and a newborn). We would absolutely book again with her in the future - she is highly capable with all varieties of dogs. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Schedule

Since I work from home, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout most of the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I’m able to take breaks between tasks for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins, so pets are never left alone for long periods. Because I’m already on a structured daily schedule, it’s easy for me to stick to a pet’s normal routine; whether that’s specific feeding times, medication schedules, or multiple walks a day. Having a pet in my home actually enhances my routine by building in outdoor time, activity, and companionship! 💛

Safety, trust & environment

Dog sitting is also my way of giving back. A portion of proceeds will be donated to a rescue or shelter that is close to my heart. That portion of proceeds will go toward helping rescue dogs receive medical care and find loving homes. When you book with me, you’re not only ensuring excellent care for your pet—you’re also helping save more lives.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day in my care is centered around making your dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and part of the family. Each morning starts with potty breaks, walks, playtime, or outdoor time based on your dog’s individual energy level and routine, followed by breakfast and time to settle in comfortably. Throughout the day, dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, enrichment, cuddles, and rest. I tailor each stay to the individual dog — whether they love active play, relaxing naps, one-on-one attention, structured routines, or simply lounging nearby and feeling included. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, anxious dogs, puppies, and dogs with medical needs, including administering medications when needed. In the evenings, we typically enjoy another walk, outdoor time, or play session before dinner and winding down for bedtime. My goal is always to create a calm, loving, low-stress environment where your pet feels secure and cared for while you’re away. Please do not bring beds, bowls, toys, crates, or other bulky pet items unless specifically discussed beforehand. I already provide these items here, and bringing additional belongings can make it difficult to keep track of what belongs to each dog. Generally, all you need to bring is your dog’s food, collar/harness, and leash.

To provide the best care for your pet, I’d love to know as much as possible about their daily routine, including feeding times, exercise needs, and any special activities they enjoy. Please share any dietary restrictions, allergies, or medications they need, as well as any behavioral quirks, fears, or anxieties. Knowing how they typically react to new people, other animals, and different environments is also helpful. I’d also appreciate details about their potty habits, preferred sleeping spots, and bedtime routines. If there are any emergency contacts, medical instructions, or specific preferences for cuddles, playtime, or alone time, please let me know! The more I know about your pet’s needs and personality, the better I can ensure they feel comfortable and loved while you're away.
