I work full time on a rolling rota so know my days off well in advance. I don’t work evenings. I would be available to care for pets when I am not working. I live close to the water of leith walking trail and have my own transport.

I am happy to look after any pets whether low energy or high. My large amount of experience means that I can make it an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone. Your mind can be at ease knowing your pet is receiving the highest level of care. Let me know if your pet has any specific requirements and I’m happy to accommodate these.
A typical day
I love to do enrichment with animals, e.g scent-work, kongs, puzzles or training. I have trained dogs and horses since I was a teenager. I always use positive reinforcement methods. I have trained my cat to do simple tricks such as, sit, spin, jump and high-five. He is harness trained to and loves to come walks with us.

Pet care experience
I have an Animal Science degree and years of hands on experience caring for pets both personally and professionally. I currently work in an animal rescue centre, where I care for a wide range of animals every day, from nervous rescues to high energy pups, so I’m confident and calm in any situation. I have knowledge of breed specific traits. Working in the rescue, I attend regular training sessions hosted by professional dog trainers and veterinarians. I am dog and cat first aid qualified and have excellent knowledge of cat and dog body language. I have previously worked on farms, stables and with working dogs. I volunteered in South America with an animal rehabilitation centre where I worked with big cats, monkeys, birds and reptiles. These experiences have given me a wide range of animal care skills that I can use to meet your pets specific needs. I am friendly, reliable and trustworthy. I will treat your pet with the best standard of care.

Booked boarding with angel for my 3 month old kitten and it’s fair to say my girl loved her time there. She didn’t just make two new human friends she made a cat friend too. Great communication regular updates, will 100% keep going back to angel she took great care of my girl.
Angel sat our girl with separation anxiety for a few hours the other night, and i’m just as impressed with her as i am when she takes her for walks. No amount of crying or whining overwhelmed Angel, she has such a positive outlook and kind approach. We can’t thank her enough.
Angel took our anxious girl on a one hour walk and knew exactly how to help her push through her anxieties when she tried to convince Angel to walk back home prematurely. We are so thankful and look forward to a first evening sit soon, and many more walks to come ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
