To whom it may concern, I am delighted to write this letter on behalf of a good friend of mine, Andrew, who has supported me in pet sitting for the past 3 years. Anytime I have to leave town, I know I can count on Andrew for taking care of my cats and making them feel at ease when I am not there. This is not an easy feat as one of my cats struggles with severe anxiety and will not warm up to people easily. By the second day she was in Andrews care, she was already approaching them for attention and did not hide under the furniture as she would do with many others in my home. Just like humans, pets are complex with their unique personalities and fun traits they exhibit. Andrew is no stranger to navigating this and adjusting their approach to care based on the traits the animal exhibits. For my energetic, social male cat, I'll receive videos of Andrew throwing Nico's favorite toy back and forth to keep him energized and content. For my other cat, they know it's best to implement the softer approach by letting Jinxie come to them when she is ready to do so at the end of the day. Andrew also recognizes the importance of the little things such as watching their footing as they walk, and not being especially loud when navigating through my home as they know the smallest noises can make both of the cats especially anxious. It's great to know that while I am away on vacation, I don't have to worry about my cats who are back at home. I know that with Andrew they will be fed, given the attention they deserve, and are treated with such care and compassion. I therefore highly recommend them as a pet sitter for anyone who is seeking such services, as Andrew provides a level of care that is hard to find today.
