Pet care experience
Hello my name is Andrew, preferably Andy! I am currently a community college student at Monterey Peninsula College. I will be entering my final semester (Fall 2026). I am seeking to work with local pet parents to assist with pet sitting, dog walking, and any needs for care, etc. I have pet sitting experiences since 2013. I am a lifetime local living in Monterey my entire life. I have two dogs myself, a seven year old boy (chiweenie) and a six year old girl (toy chihuahua). I have an immense love and compassion for animals, I believe in giving the best of care and treatment to all cats and dogs (other mammals of course) and nothing less. I have cared for puppies (ages starting at months old stage to senior dogs. Also of all sizes, S/M/L/XL. Living in an area with a high dog loving community has been a huge rewarding experience to be around. Having 13 years of experience with pet sitting has taught me some of the following: 1. Patience and understanding 2. Learning the routines 3. Benefits of consistency 4. Building trust 5. Creating a bond/connection 6. Reinforcement and reassurance 7. Quality care 8. Nurturing and comforting 9. Good communication with pet parents 10. Endless love, pets, and treats!
