I am working full-time as a vet tech and continuing to provide pet care for my clients when available. I work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and am off on weekends. I’m happy to take on walks after 5pm on weekdays. If you are interested in booking me for housesitting, please be aware that I may be scheduled to work an 8hr shift as well but can be with your animal when I am off. I will always do my best to accommodate you and your pet into my schedule and will never take on more than what would allow me to provide exceptional care.

Every animal has their own unique personality; my approach to animal care is strongly influenced by each individual animal’s needs and preferences. I will always listen to what you and your pet are telling me, I am meticulous about food allergies/sensitivity and a strong advocate for reactive dogs so I am willing to work with a variety of behavior types. In regards to pet sitting, I prefer to pet sit in your home where your animal is most comfortable, to make as little change to their daily routine as possible! If your pet needs company every 3 hours or less, please book additional drop in visits through your housesitting booking. I have no issues with high anxiety, special needs, or young pups that need extra attention, but I must charge accordingly in order to arrange you into my schedule and take away spots that other clients may be requesting. Please inform me of any allergies your pet has and if you will allow me to give them treats. What are their favorite toys? Do they have any fears and/or aggressive tendencies in response to fear, strangers, men/women, other dogs, crates, etc.? Disclaimer* I will not walk your dog on a retractable leash- they can be dangerous in many situations and I prefer not to take that risk with your fur-baby.

I like to make the most of every 30 minute walk- on average I can walk your dog a full mile in 30min, more athletic dogs usually get even further! Of course if your dog has physical or mental limitations we can take it easy and take in the sights and sounds together. I have experience working with many behavior types including shy and reactive dogs. If your dog is reactive I request we meet ahead of time to go over your dogs boundaries and routine. Before I pet your dog goodbye for the day I always make sure their water bowl is topped off and anything else you request to make your dog comfortable!

Ive worked as a vet tech in Ophthalmology for 3 years. I have experience with geriatric, diabetic, and special needs animals due to my clinic experience. Prior to working in a clinical setting I worked at a pet boarding and daycare facility where I worked with many dogs of various sizes and energy levels. Beyond my professional life, I have two rescue dogs of my own that I have been caring for for about 5 years now. 🐶 *Important- I am not a licensed veterinarian, I can offer suggestions based on my knowledge and experience in the field, however all medical advice should be sought through your pets primary veterinarian*
