Andrea can care for
Availability
I currently work from home with a flexible schedule, so as long as there's an internet connection, I can work from anywhere. This means I can easily swing by your place for walks or drop-ins. It also means staying at your place to watch your fur babies in their own comfortable environment is very doable, too!

Safety, trust & environment
As a dog and cat owner/lover myself, I understand how vulnerable it is to entrust your fur baby's care to anyone else. As a dog trainer, I understand how to meet dogs where they are and help them feel safe and loved. I care for your fur baby/babies as if they were my own. When I stay in someone's home, I like to leave things better than I found them, which means cleaning up after myself, watering plants, taking out the trash, bringing in the mail - so that when you get back, you're coming back to peace instead of chaos.
Information Andrea D. would like to know about your pet
For housesitting, I have my sweet girl, Juno, to bring along. If that's a dealbreaker for you, I completely understand. I adopted her from a farm where she was around several other dogs, barn cats, and loads of chickens and geese, so she's good with all types of animals. (I won't bring her for drop-ins or walks.) If your fur baby is NOT good with other animals, it's entirely possible I can keep them separated (I've done it before) if you're good with that. If your pet can't be left alone for a couple of hours during housesitting stays, please let me know that ahead of time (so I can plan errands/gym time accordingly).
A typical day
In addition to walks, if your pets love to chase their toys, play "tuggy" (tug-of-war), or play fetch outside with a ball, just let me know!

Pet care experience
My family has owned cats and/or dogs since I was a child. I've been a cat or dog owner in my own home since 1999, became a dog trainer in 2017, and started housesitting for people with pets in 2021. I've worked with the same client - a world-renowned bodybuilding transformation expert from Wales, along with his wife - nonstop since 2021. My work for them involves taking care of their pitbull (who was 2 when I started with them), including two 30-minute walks per day, feeding him twice a day (and making sure he sits and waits to eat, per their instructions), making sure he has plenty of fresh water to drink, letting him out to go potty (if he's not already outside in their fenced backyard), and petting/playing with him. In addition to cleaning up for myself, I go above and beyond for them with things like watering plants, rotating laundry (they've never asked me to), vacuuming, wiping down the kitchen counter, taking out the garbage I fill up, and emptying (or turning on) the dishwasher. I also send them plenty of pictures of their sweet boy (something previous sitters hadn't thought to do) and communicate with lots of updates, including when I arrive and when I leave at the end of the stay. I bring and eat my own food for overnight/longer stays, because I'm usually eating for a goal, and it's just easier to bring what I need. I've also been a housesitter for a woman with six labs. It involved feeding them and letting them into the backyard at specific times, and in a very specific order. Right now, I'm dog mom to sweet blue heeler X named Juno.
Reviews

Andrea was great. We will definitely use her again. Our dog liked her and we loved getting updates and pictures.

Are you Andrea did a great job. She’ll definitely be back to watch our Lola.

Having never had a pet/house sitter before, Andrea did a great job with providing frequent check-ins and communication about our pet’s transition with care by another. We are grateful that she was able to stay in our home, so our pet’s anxiety could remain significantly reduced. Andrea was punctual, attentive, and communicative, which helped to reduce our own concerns about our pets well-being.

Andrea is exactly the sitter she describes herself as. Excellent communication and care for my dog. I cannot recommend her enough.
