I work Monday to Friday, I can work from home, my working hours are flexible. Due to my flexible hours I can be very accommodating and this suits my own dogs needs also. I am off every weekend so if anyone needed dog boarding at the weekends I would be more than happy to help as my weekends tend to revolve around my dogs and going out walking/exploring new places with them. I also have availability for drop in visits on the weekend.

My dogs sleep in their own bed at night time. I can crate your dogs if necessary, I can be fully accommodating to suit you and your dogs needs. I do have a mix of large and small crates which I can use or you can bring your own dog crate/bed. Your dog will be looked after as if they were my own.

If you can let me know if your dog has any health concerns, specific personality traits I need to know about, what they are like with other dogs. I don’t have children so no need to worry about this.

I usually take my dogs for a walk round the block in the morning. I work from home and usually take a 45-60 minute lunch break and walk my dogs again - this can be locally at for example, Pittencrieff Park or Townhill Country Park and sometimes after work or on weekends we take them to other parks and new exciting places. I don’t drink or go out partying at the weekends so my weekends revolve around my dogs - we go to dog friendly restaurants, cafe, pubs. They love a puppachino from Starbucks!

I’ve had dachshunds in my life for 27 years but I love all dogs, having looked after my friends dog and helping my mum with her own dog boarding business I decided to join Rover where I can work dog sitting around my main job. I live in Hill of Beath, Cowdenbeath in a house with a fully enclosed garden with three longhaired miniature dachshunds Millie, Marley & Monty and my partner David. This is a great alternative to kennels as it’s a real home from home where your dog will be cared for the same as my own. There are so many beautiful places for walks near me including - Pittencrieff Park and Townhill Country Park, two of my dogs favourite places. And we often visit the secure dog field for off lead fun! As mentioned I’ve had dachshunds my whole life. My mum and gran have both owned them for over 40 years so I’m fairly knowledgable on the breed and all their personality traits and potential health conditions. However, I love all dogs! We primarily take small and medium sized dogs but depending on space and your dogs needs, we are open to taking on larger breeds. All long stays are subject to a successful trial night.

Amy took great care of my two dogs, I felt very relaxed and happy to leave them in her home. One of my dogs is elderly and on medication, Amy went out of her way to make sure she took her tablets and catered to her needs. Amy is dog lover and this shines through in the updates she provides. I was kept updated with photos and videos every day and it was clear my dogs were really enjoying their stay. I’d highly recommend Amy as a caring and conscientious home boarder provider.
Amy once again took amazing care of our slightly odd fluff ball! Loads of updates and not all pretend positive which actually gives us evrn more confidence that when she says he's fine...he is! Would recommend her to ANYONE!!!!Thanks again xx
Super friendly and think my dog now loves someone more than me
This was the first time I had left Millie whilst I go away and Amy calmed my nerves by letting me see where she’d be staying, giving me multiple updates throughout the day and letting me know she’s okay. I’d recommend Amy to anyone.
