Safety, trust & environment

Safety is at the heart of every visit. Growing up with high-energy breeds like Border Collies and Jack Russells taught me the importance of vigilance and control. For your peace of mind, all walks are conducted strictly on-lead and are exclusive to your household; I don’t do 'pack walks,' so your dog has my undivided attention. Whether I'm visiting your home for a drop-in or exploring the local area, I adapt to your dog’s specific temperament and triggers. I treat every dog with the same care and caution I give my own two dachshunds, ensuring they return home happy, tired, and safe.

Information Amiee L. would like to know about your pet

I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! To make sure we have the best time possible, please give me the inside scoop on their personality: • The Vibe Check: Does your pup have a big personality? Whether they have separation anxiety and need extra brain games to stay out of trouble, or they’re a 'vocal' walker who barks at the local squirrels, let me know! I’m very experienced with reactive pups and happy to use positive reinforcement to keep them focused. • Medical & Care: I’m a pro at administering meds—whether it’s a tablet hidden in a snack or liquid via syringe, I’ve got it covered. • The Snack Situation: To keep those tummies happy and waistlines trim, please provide your pet’s favorite treats! 🦴 Let me know the 'golden number' of treats I’m allowed to give during our session so we avoid any upset stomachs or accidental weight gain. Safety (and snacks) first! • Allergy Alerts: Please let me know if there are any 'no-go' foods or allergies I should be aware of before we start our playtime

A typical day

My goal is to provide a routine that keeps your pet happy, safe, and mentally engaged while you’re away. • For Drop-ins: I focus on quality interaction. This includes fresh water top-offs, feeding (following your exact schedule), and plenty of one-on-one playtime. I specialize in providing mental stimulation through games or light training to ensure they stay occupied after I leave. • For Walks: I typically provide 60-minute structured walks on-lead however this is adaptable to more or less depending on your pooch! I am very attentive to my surroundings to ensure a safe environment, and I’m happy to incorporate 'stop and sniff' time or a more brisk pace depending on your dog's energy levels. Every visit ends with a quick tidy-up of any pet areas and, of course, a detailed update and photos for you!

Flexible Swale Walks & Drop-ins

Pet care experience

I grew up in a busy household with a Border Collie mix and a Jack Russell, so I’m no stranger to high energy and big personalities! Today, I’m a proud 'sausage mum' to two miniature (well, 'in betweenie' size) dachshunds. I offer dedicated drop-in visits and walks throughout Swale, tailored entirely to your routine. Living in Swale with a flexible work from home schedule means I am available throughout the day and evening to give your dog the attention they deserve - I also drive so distance is not a problem! Having pet sat for family for years, I understand that every dog is an individual. Whether your pup is a high energy explorer or a shy snuggler, I adapt my approach to their specific temperament. I prioritise safety above all else; For your peace of mind, all walks are conducted strictly on lead and are exclusive to your household, ensuring my full focus is always on your best friend.

Amiee is the first person we’ve had look after our puppy & I couldn’t recommend her more. I was slightly skeptical of this app, as would be expected for a first time user, however everything has worked out brilliantly. Amiee clearly has a huge heart & love for animals. She sent us photos & updates during her drop-in & her communication was great. I could not have asked for a better experience & I would love for Amiee to consider looking after Luna again in the future. 100% recommend.
