I have been a pet-sitter for over 20 years. I've taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, frogs, fish, and plants (yes, they count too <3). I also volunteered as a dog walker at the ASPCA a few years ago. I don't have any pets of my own so I have lots of love to give to yours :-) I'm used to staying in people's homes for pet-sitting and always leave the place as I found it - I'm respectful of your belongings and house rules. -------------------------------

I am not currently boarding any pets, I only care for pets in the client's home, and follow any instructions provided. I find it varies by owner so I really just follow the routine the pets are used to :-) I make sure your pets get lots of love and play time. I also enjoy teaching dogs to sit/stand/lie down for treats! ----------------------------------

Amelie was wonderful with our older dog Maya. Maya enjoyed cuddling with her. She also sent us frequent text updates and pictures. We would definitely have her house sit again.

Amelie took such amazing care of our dog! She was easy to communicate with and I felt a sense of relief going on my trip knowing he would be in good hands. She shared an update or two with us everyday and made us feel even better knowing he was having a great time.
Amelie was the best dog sitter I have ever had. She was a match made in heaven. She stayed at my house, taking care of my newly adopted border collie and cat. Amelie sent photos daily to assuage my concerns about my newly adopted pup. She took her on wonderful long daily walks, played games and showered them both with cuddles. Amelie left my house as she found it, and was thoughtful on all aspects of care. She’s the Mary Poppins of dog sitters. The best!
Amelie was such a big help with our pup. She was quick to respond given the short noticed of our request. Durning the visit she communicated often and even sent us photo updates. If you are looking for help with your pet, my wife and I highly recommend Amelie.

Schedule
Currently working for UVA as a project manager. My job is hybrid so it offers a lot of flexibility for pet-sitting! I will always be able to cover a morning and evening feeding/walk, and 3 days/week I will be home all day.
