I have extensive hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I’m very comfortable with animals of different personalities, needs and routines. I’m confident with feeding, exercise, grooming, cleaning, administering routine care and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I’m particularly patient with nervous or less confident animals and understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable, safe and settled in their usual routine. I’ve also cared for dogs for friends and family and understand that every pet has their own personality, boundaries and requirements.

The safety and wellbeing of every animal in my care is my top priority. I have experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs and cats. I understand that every animal has different routines, personalities and needs. I’m happy to follow your usual feeding, exercise, medication and care routines, and I take the time to make animals feel comfortable and settled. Whether I’m caring for a pet in their own home, taking them for a walk or house sitting, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own animals.
Ratings and reviews
Amelia or Milli as she is fondly called is a very kind and gentle person. She has a real love of animals. She has her own cats and a horse and will go over and beyond to ensure their good welfare. Animals warm to her as do people.
I can’t think of anyone more loving, caring and trustworthy to look after animals. Animals truly are such a huge part of her life, and her love for them is something you can see immediately. She has so much patience, kindness and compassion, and she treats every animal as though it were her own. I have absolutely no doubt that any pet in her care would be given the very best attention, love and care. She would go above and beyond to make sure they felt safe, happy and comfortable. I would trust her completely with any animal and couldn’t recommend her enough.

Schedule
I work full-time Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, so my weekday availability is mainly after 4pm. I’m happy to offer walks, visits and pet care after work, sometimes I may be able to offer drop ins or walks before my work depending on your location so please feel free to message me to enquire. I’ll always make sure your pets receive the care, attention and exercise they need while you’re away.
