Retired and home all day. We try to keep your pet on its normal schedule (feeding and potty breaks). Please advise of any allergies or concerns about your pet.

We have an insulated heated/cooled dog barn with large dog run connected. Well behaved repeat customers have priority in our home. Males (especially if intact) have priority in the dog barn (they tend to mark in the porch because they smell other dogs at our house).

We love them all! Some helpful reminders: 1. Copy of current vaccinations required for all pets. (Required: Dogs (rabies, distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), Cats (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia)). Recommended for dogs: Bordatella and Flea/Tick prevention. IF your pet does NOT have these vaccines you may consider requesting us for drop-in visits or overnights at YOUR home. 2. We do accept "intact" males but do not allow them to interact with females. 3. Please let us know if your pet has shown aggression in the past and what the situation was. 4, We strive to be a cage-free environment and want your pet to interact with other pets/children but if they seem uneasy we will keep them separated. 5. Nature walks. We have plenty of room to roam on BLM land behind our property. Please advise if you are comfortable with your pet going on a walk or if you'd prefer them to only exercise in the dog run in our yard. 6. Bring your pets food, favorite toy/bedding, List of helpful information (feeding times/amount, how often they need to go potty, typical bedtime, etc). We want to make your pet feel right at home!

BLM property behind our home. Lots of play time with our kids. Property is fully fenced and we have an electric dog fence that can be activated whenever needed. I know tricks to give your pets medicine (I've had pets for the last 30 years!).

Retired Air Force Home All Day

Husband and I are both retired Air Force. We are home all day and homeschool our 7 year old boy and 9 year old girl. Very active and love animals. We take them on walks on BLM land behind our home. Our property butts up against 1000 acre ranch. (The neighbors have goats.) We have an extremely friendly female Husky and 2 cats (cats hide out upstairs). We live on 1.6 acres in Newberry Estates and this is our forever home. Can care for pets of all ages and needs. Not afraid to get our hands dirty. Your pet will be well loved and cared for! We are available anytime day/night/weekends/holidays.

Very attentive and got pictures from my pet during her stay which I did not expect. The place were the dogs are is fenced, they have a room to cool off and rest, we’re they can be put separate if needed. I love the place and Amber is really a nice person.
Left our pups while we explored Bend for the day. Wonderful setup. Would recommend.
We left shelby at amber's while we skied on a cold day. Shelby had a great time playing with the other dogs and we felt really confident leaving her with amber Nice that the dogs have a heated dog barn to retreat to!
Amber and her family were amazing when it came to watching our two dogs and our friends dog! They were all exhausted from running around and having fun play time with the other dogs that were staying with her. She sent frequent updates about all the dogs and sent us home with the sweetest note and treats for all 3. We’re frequent visitors of southern oregon and will definitely be using her services again in the future :)
