Home from home at The Groves Farm
We have always had dogs at home and I have looked after other people's dogs for many years. We live on a beautiful smallholding with 18 acres of our own land bordered by a the Escley Brook and we are surrounded by beautiful countryside so our dogs are never short of walks.

Benny had a lovely time spending the day with Amber and the other dogs that were staying with in her the beautiful hills of Herefordshire. He's not naturally a country dog but he loved exploring her farmhouse and land! Thanks again Amber
Thank you Amber for looking after Effy our very old Patterdale Terrier. She was very well looked after and came home a very happy dog. We will be rebooking again with you.
Amber was brilliant with mabs - he came back very happy and tired. Its a heavenly place for a dog to be!
Bill and Poppy had a fantastic stay at Amber's. From runs in the hay field to paddling in the river and making new friends with Rupert. So much so that they were reluctant to leave. Would highly recommend.
Bill and Poppy our border collies had a fantastic time with Amber in fact I don't think they really wanted to leave. Would have no hesitation leaving my dogs here again.
We met Amber for a meet and greet with the dogs and despite being very happy with everything we were still slightly nervous as we drove away for our weeks holiday. We need not have worried. The boys had a great time and we received regular updates and photos which was great. We would definitely use Amber again and would not hesitate recommending her to anyone. Thank you for looking after our boys so well - they will be back!

Schedule
I currently work at home or part time locally. If I am out my husband is working from home so there is always someone here for the dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
At home I work outside much of the time so dogs can be out with me as I go about my chores or in the house with my husband in the office by the fire, or in the kitchen snuggled up to the rayburn. I do one long walk a day outside of our land, and two or three shorter walks per day around our own land.
A typical day
Depending on the dog I am out and about most of the day on the farm, or the dog can stay indoors by the fire with our old dog who tends to sleep lots these days. Morning walk is followed up by morning chores/mucking out etc when dogs can potter about with me enjoying sniffing about. I can take them down to the river for a swim or play. Long walk tends to be in the afternoon.
