Furbaby Mom and Human Mom
I've always loved dogs and finally got my own in junior high. Sadly, my parents never let him in the house (except the basement or garage). For the past 11 years my husband and I have loved on our rescue dog. He gets lonely sometimes without other furry friends to play with. I'm able to board dogs in our home. I also have 4-year-old and 9-year-old children who love dogs and are gentle with them.

Amanda is great. Needed a relatively long boarding. She was super accommodating and communicative.
Provided updates with photos daily. Communication was clear. Our dog was well cared for.
Our pup Bella enjoyed her stay with Amanda! Communication was seamless. We enjoyed getting pictures daily of Bella exploring and interacting with Amanda's family. We will definitely be using Amanda again!

Schedule
I work from home full time running a play school. My husband works only five minutes away and could help in case of emergency. We are staying put this year over various holidays so vacation boarding is an option.

We have a large fenced in yard and a big house where our dog is free to roam. If your dog is more comfortable being crated, that's fine as well!

A typical day
I love teaching dogs new tricks, taking them on walks, cuddling with them, petting them, playing fetch and other games. My own dog used to do doggy Olympics with me. I set up laundry baskets in the hallway and would have him run and jump them! The kids here love to play with the dogs, pet and cuddle them, or run with them in the yard.

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs. My main concern is I prefer friendly dogs who will get along with my dog and kids. I require dogs to have current shot records that I can keep on file. This is for the safety of my dog, my family, and the families of children who attend my school. I will not accept newly adopted dogs since owners often do not know enough about their dog to give me an accurate description of the dog's personality and behavior, and this can result in safety issues.
