I work 4 10 hour days during the week but aside from that I have a very flexible schedule. Making sure any pets in my care get proper love and attention is a top priority of mine. I can even bring pets I am watching to work with me if desired so that we can hang out on my breaks and lunch hour.

I live in an upstairs apartment so I personally have my dogs pad trained for emergencies and take them outside to use the bathroom (while leashed) every few hours during the day if I’m home. Otherwise my partner who works from home takes them out or they use the indoor pads as trained. I don’t typically encourage letting dogs be outside by themselves EVEN if the yard is fenced in. Working in veterinary medicine has made me all too aware of the freak accidents that can occur so I’m very much a helicopter mom to my own girls and even more so to my clients’ pets. Trusting someone to watch your animals is such a huge leap of faith and I take that incredibly seriously.

I love hanging out with all pups - active, lazy, and everything in between! I’m always down for trip to the beach, park, or a nice hike. For the couch potatoes, I’m a professional at giving all the cuddles and pets your fur baby could ever need.

I got my first dog at 10 years old and have been around animals my whole lite. In the last few years, my professional life became centered around animals as well. I started off at a doggy daycare/kennel and have plenty of experience providing animals with various levels of care. After a short while, I realized that my passion in life lies within veterinary medicine. I work at a very busy animal hospital where I’ve taken on several different roles including customer service representative, veterinary assistant, and inventory manager. I currently have two dogs of my own and I couldn’t possibly love them more than I do. They’re my children and I spoil them rotten. Every client I have whether that be in the hospital setting or pet-sitting can trust that I will always care for their pets as my own because my two pups are my world and that’s how I hope a veterinary professional or pet sitter would treat them.

I reached out to Amanda last minute when I had a family emergency come up and had to leave town, she responded almost immediately and we booked! She came by every day for a week at the times I had requested, she walked, fed, and played with my 2 pups! She was attentive with them and respectful of my home while coming in and out. She will be my go to (with more notice next time lol) any time I leave town or need care for my pups! Thank you so much Amanda!!
I first met Amanda when I brought my dogs in to the vet clinic where she works. I mentioned that I needed someone to look after my dogs while I was out of town and she volunteered herself for the job! My dogs are generally pretty particular about who they bond with but at this point I’m pretty sure they may prefer her over me lol. I came home after being away for 6 days to a still clean home and 2 dogs that clearly wanted for nothing while I was away. So grateful for her help!
