I only care for pets in your own home. The owners of the 3 dogs I have regularly walked during the past 4 years all gave me a house key, and completely trusted me. I am happy to wash muddy paws/clean out litter trays etc. I am fully insured with Rover.
Information Amanda R. would like to know about your pet
I like to come round to meet your pet before the first time I look after them at no cost to you. If it is a dog you need care for I like to have a quick walk with owners & their dog to see how they behave/what they may be nervous of or particularly like doing. One of the dogs I walked was a very shy, nervous terrier so I have had experience of dealing with that. I like to know if you would like me to keep dogs on the lead, if you mind them getting wet/muddy etc. If they do I am happy to clean muddy paws etc if you leave out the cleaning materials.
A typical day
With cats I visit I feed them, clean their litter tray & groom them & then spend the rest of the 30 mins with them, happy to play if they want to. With dogs I vary their walks, take them out in the car sometimes, throw balls, take them to the beach. I let them off the lead if they have good recall.

Pet care experience
I have always had cats & dogs myself as pets & treat all the animals I look after as if they were my own; I don't just feed cats & clean them out but spend some time with them. I take dogs on varied walks & I never walk more than one dog at a time. I am currently walking a dog Tuesday/Thursday but available on other days for occasional walks/drop in care for cats on every day. Also used to looking after tortoises. Will have them to stay.

Once again, a fantastic service from Amanda. Houdini was very happy with her while I was away as she looked after him so well and gave him lots of cuddles!
Once again Amanda has looked after Houdini (cat) amazingly well. I thoroughly recommend Amanda for cat care. She takes the time to sit and play with Houdini and make a fuss of him, which he loves.
So happy to have had Amanda looking after Houdini. She is very reliable, cared for Houdini very well, watered my tomato plants and even did the little bit of washing up I had left when going away! I have no hesitation in recommending her and she will definitely be my first choice when going away again.
New to area luckily we found Amanda she looked after our Cat billy can’t recommend highly enough when we have gone away in the past we have used a cattery also she has gone to stay with my daughter on our return we we So pleased usually she’s a bit grumpy letting us know she wasn’t best pleased she was calm not off her food as is usually also not having to do detour to pick up was a big bounces highly recommended Jeanette
