Hello, I'm Amanda. I have been working with Santa Cruz, Bay Area and Northern Nevada families and their pets for over 14 years. I have helped train dogs at ARF Animal Rescue in Walnut Creek, CA and volunteered at the Lafayette, CA Animal Hospital. I have also worked as a vet tech giving me the opportunity to learn a lot about the health industry for animals. Do you work all day and come home to stressed, hyper, hungry or destructive dog? Often times our pets just need a little more mental stimulation and exercise to help them calm down while you're on vacation or work. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs over the years and I am happy to help your dog get the mental and physical stimulation he or she needs. I have 3 dogs and have owned many different types of animals over the years. I am a very active person and love taking my dogs hiking and to the beach. Certain breeds need more than just a daily walk. I have experience with clicker training, positive reinforcement, and behavior modification. I also have experience working with timid, aggressive and high-maintenance dogs. I have fantastic references, and I'm a outgoing, laid back person who is very easy to talk to. I understand how it can be to hard find someone you trust with your best friend I would love to meet with you and your pet so you can get a better sense of who I am and how I can help your pet live a happier life-they deserve it! I believe in negotiating pricing that works for everyone, and operate on a sliding scale depending on whether your dog can be around other dogs, your location, and your specific needs. I am willing to accommodate to your needs. Daily walks and overnight pet sitting. I am also open to working with other animals other than dogs.
