I work from home full-time and primarily can set my own schedule so I can be readily available whenever you and your fur baby need me! You can set all drop-off and pick-up times for whatever works best for your schedule. The ONLY exception would be if I had something planned beforehand, and I will make sure you are aware of this prior to confirming your booking. Emergencies happen, and I would never want you to worry that you can’t leave as soon as you need to because you can’t find a sitter. I’ve also been in a situation where you get home sooner than expected, but I don’t want to make the extra trip the following day. All I ask is for a 2-4 hour warning so I can make sure everything is packed up and ready to go when you arrive.

I have a house with a doggy door that leads to a big fenced-in yard that they’ll have access to play in whenever they want. Additionally, I’m huge on maintaining food, walk, and playtime schedules, so you can guarantee I will always be there and ready for all of your animal's needs.

What I would like to know about your pet ahead of time: 1. How are they with other dogs? 2. Do they need to be crated if I need to run to the store quickly? 3. How much and what is their feeding schedule? 4. Is there anything I should watch for? (Chronic licking of paws, scratchy ears, skin conditions, etc.) 5. Is there anything your animal can’t do on their own? (needs help getting on the bed or couch, etc.)

We are a mixed household here! I have a high-energy 6-year-old and a calm but sleepy 10-year-old. Fetch is a daily part of our routine. We go for 2-3 daily walks in my development, the beach (weather permitting), and trails in the nearby area. For my senior citizen doggies we do the walk to the mailbox down the road. I have tons of toys ranging from plushy toys, ropes, bones, balls, and extra tough Kong toys. Usually, by mid-afternoon, it’s nap time, and everyone finds a bed or a piece of the couch to snooze on. Once I’m done with work, it’s dinner time, maybe another round of fetch or a game of tug of war. We end our evening with snuggles on the couch while watching TV, and off to bed we go!

Hi everyone! My name is Amanda, and I am an extreme animal lover! I’ve owned and cared for cats and dogs for 18+ years. I have 3 spayed lady dogs that love making new friends and happily share their toys and beds for newcomers. While under my care, you’ll receive pictures and videos of your babies almost every day to see how their stay is going and all the fun they’re having. Also, for however long I am privileged to watch your fur babies, they will be welcomed with open arms, become a part of our family, and be extremely loved! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends soon! ❤️

Alaska seemed happy and healthy after her stay, Amanda was flexible about drop off and pick up times, and we even picked up our pupper in the middle of the week for a quick beach trip and dropped her off again! Would definitely board our dog with Amanda again.
Amanda was recommended to me by a friend that had used her services before and it’s hard to look back now! She has genuine love for dogs and you can tell right off the bat on your first visit. She has multiple accommodations for any need your puppy may have and is able to work with you pretty much anything reasonable. I booked her after my original care plan for my babies had failed in the middle of vacation and she ensured my two dogs were safe and taken care of which eventually helped them destress and settled down.
Amanda is the best! She kept in contact and let me know how my Max was doing and sent lots of pictures. She treats your dog like her own pet and it was such a relief to know Max was being well cared for.
