Hey there! I was lucky enough to grow up on a farm with cows, horses, chickens, cats, and dogs so animals have always been a big part of my life. With my family dog being 15 and blind, as well as our family cats reaching 18+ years, geriatric pets are nothing new! I have always been the one to wake up early to take the animals out, bathe them, and give medicine when needed.

I am very patient and always put the animals safety first, making sure to put leashes on before exiting the door and checking fence gates before letting pets out.

Working with Alyssa was truly a nightmare. After direction to leave the key hidden under the plant pot when leaving, Alyssa haphazardly left our front door key in front of the plant, in plain view to passerby’s. Anyone could have seen the key on the sidewalk and broken into our home. I would not feel safe leaving her to care for my home again. Further, every few days, she would bring up new ailments that she thought my cats had. Concerned, I asked for her help regarding taking them to the emergency vet and she was unwilling. Thankfully, when I got back and took them to the vet, they were completely fine. Her hypochondria left me constantly worrying about my cats being sick. While I was lucky that they were healthy, I’d be worried about other people’s cats, given her unwillingness to help take my cats to the vet during a time that she thought they were ill. Lastly, she claimed that bugs had infested my whole apartment and my fridge, including where my cats food was stored in the fridge. I was shocked by this, having left an apartment where I would see maybe a stray fruit fly once a week. After numerous threats to quit, a story about her shoes getting stolen, and so on, I come back to completely fine apartment. Plus, there were zero bugs in the fridge, dead or alive. Ultimately, the whole experience was incredibly stressful and bizarre. I would not recommend her.

Alyssa took wonderful care of my cat while I was away on vacation. She sent me updates to provide peace of mind that he was ok and attended to. I very happily recommend Alyssa to anyone in need of care for their furry friend. I will be using her again in the future!
Alyssa was wonderful! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and truly cares about them. She followed all of my directions carefully, was punctual, and gave my cat Teddy all the playtime, attention, and snuggles he needed while I was away. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. I would absolutely hire Alyssa again!

Schedule
I am currently studying full time to get into law school so my schedule is very open! I’m available during the typical 9-5, Monday through Friday, as well as before and after, and am also available on weekends.
