I currently work full time 4 days a week so I don’t have every day available, but due to working some weekends I do have some weekday availability which may be helpful for you! I normally cannot do midday visits, but can do early morning and evening on most any day

Before meeting a any pet I think it is very important to know of any behavioral or medical history they may have. Do they have any fear or anxiety triggers to avoid? Any ongoing or even temporary medical issues to keep an eye on. And of course, what do they like to do?
A typical day
I would love to show your pup a good time. I’ll play fetch with them, give them belly rubs and take them on fun and relaxing walks in the park or around town! I will always try to make friends with your cat as well. I'll hang out with them whether they want to be pet/brushed or to just play with their toys!

I absolutely adore cats and dogs so much that I made it my full time job!! I’ve had cats of my own since May 2019 as well as in my childhood. In March 2020, I started working at an animal hospital and working towards becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). In May of 2023 I graduated and became an LVT in New York state. As a licensed vet tech I have experience handling cats and dogs of varying temperaments, and am comfortable administrating medications (oral, topical, or injectable).

Alyssa did a wonderful job taking care of my cats. She was able to give injections and pills to my diabetic cat and his brother. They all came right out when she came to feed them. Which is amazing because sometimes they will hide. I would highly recommend Alyssa as a pet sitter.

I would give Alyssa 10 stars if I could! We moved to Rochester with our cat in June and had to be away a lot in July and August. I’d never used Rover and was nervous to do so but didn’t have any other options being new to town. I’m so grateful we found Alyssa here. She
Alyssa was fantastic with my two kitties while I was away!! She sent great updates with kits of photos, and my kitties were very happy!
