We were really looking forward to having Alyssa take care of our four dogs while we were on vacation. She seemed responsible and we thought she’d do a great job. Unfortunately, when we got home, things didn’t quite go as planned. Some of our belongings were chewed up by the dogs, and it seemed like they had a bit too much freedom in the house. There wasn’t much outdoor cleanup either, and we actually had a neighbor help out with that. We had left detailed instructions, but it seems like they may not have been fully followed. One of our dogs is a German Shepherd puppy who needs a lot of attention, and it didn’t seem like he got the care he needed. We’ve reached out to Alyssa about the damage, but we haven’t heard back yet, which is a little frustrating. Alyssa is likely great with one or two dogs, but four can be a lot to handle. We paid fairly and even gave a generous tip before we left, and we just wish that any issues would have been communicated so we could address them. Hopefully, this was just a learning experience!

Alyssa was on time and extremely tentative to my dog which had recently gone through a surgery. I highly recommend her and trust her to watch my pup and I know she’ll do a great job watching your fur babies. 5 star review here. I’ll be requesting this sitter more in the future.

The agreed sit time was from 8 pm to 1:30 am. When Alyssa arrived, we discussed my dogs routine and the last thing we discussed was the time I would be returning. Again, 1:30 am was agreed upon. I received a text at 11:04 pm asking if I wanted her to stay until I returned because most of the people, she has sat for lets her go about 45 minutes before their scheduled return. I didn't see the text until close at 1 am and when I responded she stated she already had left. I honestly have no idea when she left but I'm guessing it was around 11 pm. My dog has severe separation anxiety which is why I had her sit for me in the first place. I returned home immediately and found my door unlocked and my dog barking and crying. I'm sure my neighbors loved it. Never again!
