Pet care experience
Quiet, conscientious and calm animal lover
I recently lost my permanent foster dog from Spain, who came to me when he was 9 and I had him for over 4 years. He was a large GSDx and my house is very quiet without him so I thought pet sitting might be nice to do in the interim. I have always had dogs growing up and frequently look after my friends and families dogs and cats whilst they are away. I'm not worried if your furry pal is older. I work from home so will always be on hand to let them out and I have some fab walks nearby.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
My garden is enclosed and has a very high and secure padlocked gate towards the front. My dog was never interested in jumping over the wall to see my neighbour (as he was arthritic and a large chap). I do look after a pup sometimes and he is kept on a lead at all times in my garden as he's young and nosey and a bounce risk (I would do the same for any dogs that stays to ensure they are secure)
Ratings and reviews
I can’t fault Alison. She’s absolutely amazing with my dog, communicates everything to me. I loathe leaving him but know he’s in safe hands with her.

First few times I’ve used alison. Excellent communication, and my dog isn’t the most sociable but seems to have a good rapport for her. Couldn’t recommend more

Alison is a wonderful dog sitter and a life saver ! We have a young, very bouncy and quite reactive Australian Kelpie. She clearly just loves dogs and was not phased at all by his little excitement berserker moments. They took to each other right away. She was comfortable with walking him even though he's a handful and taking our instructions. Our dog didn't even miss us! The nerve. Alison took care of him all day and he clearly loved it We cannot recommend Alison enough. Your dog could not be in better hands.
Alison is amazing with animals—she’s one of those people pets just instantly trust. She’s super reliable, always on time, and genuinely loves being around animals. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or just hanging out and giving cuddles, she goes above and beyond. I always feel totally at ease knowing my pets are in her care.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I currently work full time but remotely from home. I take breaks every couple of hours and usually go for a walk on my lunch hour or after work. I'm used to a large senior dog who would often need regular toilet breaks (and snack time - he would definitely let me know if he was snacky)
