I have been an independent pet sitter for 18 plus years. I have plenty of experience with cats, dogs and other small critters. I have been very passionate in my love of animals for many years and all of my pets mean the world to me. I have spent time volunteering in shelters for pet care as we as medical care and have spent time working as a vet assistant as well. While working in the vet office I learned how to medicate cats as well as how to give subcutaneous fluids. I have worked in various animal related fields for over a decade including vet offices, shelters, grooming facilities, pet stores and pet sitting. All animals are fascinating to me and I enjoy learning about the different types of care they all need. I live in Galena IL and am willing to cover all surrounding areas 😸

I'm so glad we found Alisha to stay with our pets! Her conscientious attention to detail, flexibility, and caring nature made us feel much more comfortable leaving our pets behind. She goes above and beyond in her communications and photos, we enjoyed receiving them and knowing that our babies were well-cared for during our absence! Alisha took wonderful care of our precious girls (a cat & a dog - little girls who are rather high maintenance 😊), and our home. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and she provides excellent care! We will definitely be utilizing Alisha's services in the future when we plan trips away from home!
Leaving your animal family at home while you're away can be a very stressful time for us pet parents. I used to get incredibly anxious knowing I would need someone else to care for my animals, when I would RATHER be happy and excited for an upcoming trip or vacation! If this sounds like you, ALISHA is your solution. Alisha was put on this earth to care for animals. She has taken the best care of our dogs, turtle, birds, lizard, and fish while we've been away allowing my husband and I to actually enjoy ourselves. She follows all instructions and consistantly goes above and beyond. She sends you so many pictures and updates you wont even need to check your camaras (if you have them).You will love her! We do:)
Alisha is courteous, timely, and responsible. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my pets. She not only has the knowledge necessary to care for animals, but she truly cares about her clients.
Alisha took wonderful care of our 6 cats while we were away for almost 3 weeks. She was aware that I’m a nervous pet parent so she took the time to send me pictures and updates on our babies daily. It made me so comfortable knowing that someone who is as caring and thoughtful as she is was there. When we got back the litter boxes were in great shape and the house looked like no one had even been there. We plan to hire her again the next time we take an extended trip!
