I have a lovely part time job working on dog-friendly farms with a flexible schedule, so I’m available most of the time for pet care with minimal heads up!

For boarding I have a yard with a long line for potty breaks, a private dog park with 24/7 access, two state parks within 20 minutes of me for hiking, and a 1,300 sq ft house with tons of toys and the ability to section my house off if pets need their personal space. I also have a friends farm I love to walk pets at as there’s no ‘public’! In the clients home I match care instructions to the letter as well as see if I can get the pet to interact with the toys and space available.

A typical day
I often go to state parks and trails where we can go hiking, swimming, jogging, backpacking, if your pet is quiet and store friendly they are welcome to come with me to pet friendly places as well! I am great at matching your pets exercise routine, my dog walk option with the extra hour can include me taking your dog to a park for an intensive hiking day- I like to call them Adventure Days! Your pup WILL come home and sleep! I also take my active board dogs on 1-2 adventure days per week if the weather isn’t terrible in addition to their normal routine 🙏🏻

I’ve always had animals of all kinds. I’ve grown up caring for all kinds of dogs, cats, horses, goats, birds, reptiles, and fish! I’m well versed in giving medication to all sorts of animals, and I do best with quiet or skittish animals that need some extra patience

Alicia was great! We have a very energetic young girl named Maggie! Alicia and her furry family provided great care for her two days last weekend . The second day we dropped her off, she did not hesitate to run to the door. We will be using Alicia for Maggie this summer for care:)

Alicia was great! Our dog is an active breed and daily walks are appreciated. She not only walked him but took him on long adventure walks on a farm she frequents. She truly went above and beyond for him. 5 stars! We will keep her on our sitter list!
Alicia went above and beyond for us. She took care of all of our critters - even the non traditional ones. She was always on time, sent lots of pics and was great to work with. I'd definitely book her again for our next trip. :)
