A best friend for your best friend
I have been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always felt natural to me. I have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including up to three dogs and two cats in the same household. Because I’ve always had dogs in my life, I’ve cared for them through every stage: playful puppies, energetic adult dogs, and sweet senior dogs who need extra patience and gentleness. I currently have one cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet’s routine, comfort, and personality. I love getting to know each animal individually, whether they are shy, playful, cuddly, independent, or full of energy. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I truly believe that pets may only be part of our lives for a while, but we are their whole world. That is why I take pet care seriously and do my best to make sure every animal feels happy, comfortable, and well taken care of.

My priority is keeping your pet comfortable in the environment they already know. I do my best to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding instructions, walks, playtime, litter box care, medication directions if needed, and any house rules you have in place. I understand that letting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big deal. I will be respectful of your space, careful with doors, gates, leashes, and feeding areas, and I always make sure pets are secure before I leave. I also pay attention to each pet’s body language and personality so I can give them the right balance of attention, patience, play, and space.

Alexis has been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. She has cared for pets since she was 10 years old and has always shown incredible patience, compassion, and responsibility with every animal she meets. She treats every pet as if they were her own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Anyone would be lucky to have Alexis caring for their furry family members!
I have known Alexis as a friend and professional coworker for the past few years. In our time working together, she is consistently prepared, on time, and ready to work! These components also affect how she treats her own pet, as well as how she has treated mine! I never worry about anything when Alexis takes care of my loved furry friend. Alexis keeps me updated with texts, photos, videos, and generally makes sure that I know my pet is taken care of. Alexis would be a great employee for Rover, given her love of animals and professionalism on and off the clock!

Harmonogram
I’m a teacher that gives music lessons to students in the area, so my schedule changes with the school and summer season. Because of that, I often have large blocks of open availability where I can dedicate plenty of time to pet care, including walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. When my schedule is open, I’m able to take on bookings quickly and give pets the attention they deserve at any hour of the day. I’m also very careful to only accept jobs that I know I can fully commit to, so pet parents can feel confident that their pets are in reliable hands. My goal is to be flexible, honest, and dependable while making sure every pet gets patient, loving care.
