Fenced 1/3-acre yard for play
Hi, I’m Alexis! I live with my friendly dog, Addy, on a beautiful four-acre property with easy access to walking trails and a fenced-in 1/3-acre yard where dogs have plenty of safe space to run and play. I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s energetic puppies, senior pets needing extra care, or animals with specific routines, I make sure each one feels safe, loved, and at home. I’m experienced with leash walks, medication administration, and overnight stays. Your pets will get plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention, and I always send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for. Alexis was great with Bentley! She sent lots of updates and checked in on him after he was picked up.

Amazing sitter. Dogs were happy, we got pictures, and our pups loved their little vacation. 5 stars.
Olive was very happy on Alexis’ beautiful property. She loved the fenced enclosure and the goats! Alexis is a great communicator and sent pictures and updates.

Amazing sitter, super great communication I 100% have found Kaiser’s new sitter 💕🐾

Unfortunately, our experience with Alexis did not go as expected. Prior to booking, we completed a meet and greet, which went well and gave me confidence that the stay would be a good fit for Carolina. When I dropped Carolina off on June 4th, I was initially told she was doing well. However, at 10:00 PM the following evening, I received a message saying Carolina was growling and acting aggressively toward Alexis and her son. Carolina has never shown aggressive behavior before and has successfully stayed with other sitters without any issues. As soon as Alexis contacted me that night, I immediately reached out to Rover to begin looking for a solution. I continued communicating with Rover throughout the entire next day in an effort to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. The following morning, I was informed Carolina was doing fine but was outside. I want to clarify that Carolina was left outside at my request because she seemed stressed in the home environment, and I felt it was best to give her space rather than bring her back inside where she may have felt uncomfortable. During our communication the next day, Alexis stated that Carolina needed to be removed from her home immediately because she had “since tried to attack people on the property,” which is completely out of character for Carolina. Carolina has never displayed that type of behavior before. Rover located a boarding option, but Alexis stated she was unable to transport Carolina there. I then spent the day urgently trying to arrange someone to pick Carolina up due to the short notice. I was also on vacation with my family, six hours away, which made it extremely difficult to manage the situation. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy my vacation because I was deeply worried about Carolina’s safety and the overall situation. I was told Carolina needed to be picked up quickly because Alexis was having people over, and animal control would be called if she was not picked up within the hour. Given that the concerns were first communicated late at night, it was extremely difficult to coordinate immediate arrangements the next day. Thankfully, a friend of mine — who had never met Carolina before — was able to pick her up. Carolina was immediately happy and comfortable leaving with my friend, which was reassuring. I am very disappointed because I truly hoped this stay would work out. However, the way the situation was handled, along with the urgency and threats under short notice, created significant stress. I hope future bookings involve clearer communication, patience, and understanding when unexpected issues arise.

Rumi loved her stay, as always. Alexis is caring, communicative, and a great animal caregiver.
