My house is completely secure for small and large dogs. Our home is set on a very quiet close in kings hill. We have a minimal back garden where they can play freely. I am often out with walking the dogs at least twice a day for a good 1hour at a time. My dogs sleeps in his own bed in our bedroom and we would welcome another bed on the floor or in their own space if required. If you do not allow your dogs upstairs we have plenty of secure downstairs space your dog can enjoy. However we do treat all guests like family.

A typical day
When at home I always play with my dog. Often ball play in the garden or catch with his favourite squeaky toy. We take many different walks, around our near by lakes where Eddie and Emmy often takes a little swim. But also walks in the local woodland and fetch on the common.

Pet care experience
I’ve had pets my whole life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. Animals have always been at the heart of my home. While living abroad, I rescued Bonny, a beautiful crossbreed desert dog who taught me so much about patience, love, and understanding different personalities. She was incredibly special to me. After returning to the UK and spending a few years without a dog, I welcomed Eddie, my working Cocker Spaniel, into my life. We also have a 1-year-old female spaniel. They truly are my world. I teach yoga five times a week and work from home two days a week, so my lifestyle is calm, balanced and centred around wellbeing. This means your dog will have plenty of attention, companionship and a relaxed environment while in my care. Because I’m a dog owner myself, I completely understand how important it is to have total peace of mind when leaving your dog in someone else’s care. That’s exactly what I would want for my own — and it’s what I promise to provide for you. We are a calm, child-free home with a secure, enclosed garden for safe play and exercise. Our home is also non-smoking, providing a clean and comfortable environment for your dog. Dogs who come to stay with us become part of the family. They’re treated as one of our own — with love, attention, cuddles, structure, and plenty of fun. My dogs are friendly and used to being around other dogs, so it’s important that any visiting dog is sociable and comfortable sharing space with them. I always follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, settled and at home. You can expect regular updates and photos, because I know how reassuring that is when you’re away. Your dog won’t just be looked after — they’ll be welcomed into a loving home.
Reviews

Belle has been to stay with Alex a number of times over the past few years. Belle always comes back happy and clearly has a great time, as she just becomes part of the extended dog family and enjoys lovely walks and plenty of playtime with Alex's own dogs. We always get updates during Belle's stays and it really is a home from home.

Belle's 4th stay with Alex. She had a lovely time and is treated like one of the family. She loved playing with Alex's dogs and going on lovely walks. We also got regular updates and pics during the stay. 5 stars from Belle and me.
Fantastic doggy boarding experience! Alex was so welcoming and kind. She treated my dog like one of her own. She has two amazingly friendly doggies and a very clean, spacious home. My 3 year old dog was so happy to stay the night. He was extremely well looked after. Highly recommend!

Our Labrador, Belle, had a great time staying with Alex and her dogs for two days. Belle came back very happy - if quite tired - from all those lovely walks and playing in the house with the other dogs and their many toys. We got plenty of updates and pictures during Belle's stay and she was clearly in good hands. Alex also took great care to ensure that things would be a success - by arranging both an initial meet up for a walk with her dogs and then (shortly before the stay) another group walk, followed by a home visit - so that the environment would not be new to Belle. Would have no hesitation in using Alex again or recommending her to other dog owners looking for a sitter.
