I follow your exact household routine so your pet feels minimal disruption. This includes feeding and medication on schedule, refreshing food and water, thorough litter-box scooping and cleaning, playtime or walks, and any enrichment or cuddle time your pet enjoys. I also perform basic home checks (locking doors, bringing in mail, watering plants if requested) while treating your space with complete respect. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or an overnight stay, I adapt to your cat’s or dog’s preferences—quiet companionship for shy pets, interactive play for energetic ones—and provide detailed updates throughout the visit.

Alex is amazing with animals! He has taken care of my family’s pets and farm animals including cats, dogs, goats, horses, chickens, and silly donkey. He grew up taking care of and grooming dogs but now has three kitties of his own that he spoils. He absolutely adores animals and treats any that he meets as his own.

The more details you share, the better I can keep your pets happy, safe, and on their normal routine. Please let me know: - Name, age, breed/species, and any medical conditions or medications (including exact dosages, timing, and how they prefer to take them) - Feeding schedule, portion sizes, treats allowed/not allowed, and any food allergies or sensitivities - Potty habits, house-training status, preferred walking routes or outdoor access, and any marking or accident history - Personality and behavior notes: energy level, friendliness with people/dogs/cats, any anxiety, reactivity, fear triggers, resource guarding, or special handling needs - Favorite toys, games, enrichment, or calming routines, plus anything they dislike or should avoid - Vet name and contact info, microchip number, and emergency contacts - Any house rules, access instructions, alarm codes, or other details that help me care for both your pets and your home Feel free to send photos, videos, or a written routine ahead of the meet-and-greet. I’m happy to review everything in advance so the first visit already feels familiar and low-stress for your pets.
