*I do not service NYC* My name is Alexa and I was born an animal lover. I’m a full time public school teacher, so this is my second job. I sit for all types of pets, but I specialize in cat care! I have four indoor rescue cats and two outdoor feral cats who I feed and have cared for for over 20 years. They are my world and have given me invaluable experience caring for cats with varied needs as well as a true appreciation for all of their quirky personalities. My own cats have dealt with various health issues over the years, so I feel comfortable caring for pets with special needs, young and old. I am experienced in medication administration and adhering to specialty diets. My demeanor is relaxed and nonthreatening, so your pet will feel comfortable and relaxed with me. Animals are my passion and I am happiest around them, so I will be sure to treat your furry friend as one of my own. I am reliable, trustworthy, and will work with you to make the experience as easy as possible for your pet. I am free anytime on weekends and after work on weekdays (3:00 PM). I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, and I can assure you that your pet and I will become fast friends!

Sparky is our first fur baby, and for years we relied on a trusted neighbor whenever we were away. When our neighbor recently moved, we were honestly stressed about the thought of finding someone we can trust. After interviewing several candidates across different platforms, we chose Alexa. Not only did she have great experience with her own cats and dogs, but Sparky took an immediate liking to her the very first time they met. Alexa absolutely delivered. She listened carefully to every detail we shared and gave Sparky wonderful care and attention. She is incredibly thoughtful and proactive, too—when Sparky coughed up a hairball on our sofa, she cleaned it right up before we even knew about it. We loved the regular photo updates while we were away, and coming home after two weeks to a happy, healthy Sparky greeting us with a resounding meow meant the world. Thank you, Alexa! We will definitely be reaching out again for future trip.
Considering this was our first time hiring a pet sitter, Alexa was very knowledgable and reassuring! She updated us each day on how our baby was and followed instructions/requests with no complaints. I appreciated all the photos we would get after every drop in visit. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I am a full-time public school teacher, so this affords me the opportunity to have a set schedule and the ability to book far in advance. I get out of work at 3:00, and I am off on weekends, holidays, and summers.
- CatsAlexa can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or dietary restrictions. I’d also love to know about their favorite toys and treats! The more I know, the better I can care for your beloved pet!
