Caring Animal Management Student
I'm currently studying a Level 3 T Level in Animal Management at Plumpton College and have over 4 years of practical experience caring for a wide variety of animals through both volunteering and paid work. I volunteer at Middle Farm, where I care for animals including feeding, cleaning, monitoring their welfare and helping with their daily routines. I also worked as a volunteer and paid assistant at Not Just Poodles, where I gained experience handling dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities while helping to keep them happy, comfortable and well cared for. I'm confident around both energetic young animals and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I understand the importance of following routines, administering basic care, recognising changes in behaviour and making sure every pet feels safe and secure while their owners are away. I know every pet is different, so I always take the time to get to know their personality, routine and individual needs. Whether that's long walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles or simply providing calm company, I'll care for your pet as if they were my own. As well as being reliable and trustworthy, I genuinely love spending time with animals. My aim is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is happy, safe and receiving lots of love and attention while you're away.

I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I always treat every animal with the same care and attention I would give my own. When caring for pets in their home, I make every effort to keep to their normal routine, including feeding times, walks, medication (where appropriate), playtime and plenty of affection. I know that familiar routines help pets feel relaxed and settled while their owners are away. On walks, your pet's safety is always my priority. I make sure dogs are securely leaded where required, avoid busy roads whenever possible and pay close attention to their behaviour and surroundings. I'll always follow your instructions about recall, off-lead walking and any individual needs or preferences your pet has. I'm also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and well looked after. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, confident and cared for from the moment we meet.

Animals seem to naturally relax around Alabama. I'm not sure if it's from all the time she spent being around animals on the farm or looking after pets or if it comes from her naturally relaxing persona. She listens deeply to instructions and executes them diligently and has such a happy nature which is full of sunlight.
Alabama has been a pet sitter for my cats several times - she would always be my first choice because I know how much she genuinely loves animals and seems to be so tuned in to their needs . She genuinely cares about making them feel safe and loved and her kind and gentle nature is so perfect for helping even the most timid animal trust her. She’s a total natural but also now has considerable knowledge and experience of multi level caring for many animals besides domestic ones . Alabama is just the perfect pet sitter - I’d recommend her to anyone !
Alabama is totally reliable and always puts the pets in her care first. She genuinely loves animals so I always feel relaxed when they are with her. She also lets you know what they have been up to in the day iften with photos which is great.

Schedule
At the moment, I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week for pet sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking. The only regular commitment I have is volunteering at Middle Farm on Mondays, where I continue to build my practical animal care experience. From September, I'll be returning to college to continue my Level 3 T Level in Animal Management. My timetable will still leave me with plenty of availability, and I'll be happy to arrange bookings around my college hours. I'll always keep my Rover calendar up to date so owners can see exactly when I'm available. I'm reliable, organised and committed to making sure every pet receives the time, care and attention they deserve.
