I have immersed myself in animal care since a very young age. I have a wide variety of animal experience as I work as a vet assistant/tech with 3 years of veterinary experience and have done farm work, volunteered at animal shelters, medical fostering, and wildlife internships. In addition to dogs and cats, I am also comfortable with large/farm animals, exotics, and any special needs pets either medical or behavioral, all while providing the best care for all furry or non furry family members.

So grateful we found Adalia to care for Sally, our 18 y/o JRT. From booking to pickup, Adalia was incredible. Sally came home relaxed vs exhausted and loved her stay. Highly recommend!
This is the first time I have boarded my 1 year old pup overnight, so I was nervous. I didn’t want to board him in a traditional kennel, so going through Rover seemed like a good alternative. Adalia was very nice and made my pup comfortable right away. She sent photos during his stay, and when I picked him up he almost seemed hesitant to leave! I can tell she has a love of animals, which is what you want to see when leaving your beloved puppy behind. I would not hesitate to leave my pup with Adalia again in the future.

Schedule
While I am a student, I am only at school for up to three hours a day, so the majority of my time can be well spent making sure adequate love, care, and patience goes into your family members while they are in my care. I try to stick to whatever routine your animal(s) are already used to at home and do activities they enjoy which makes the transition a little easier for them in a new place.

I take significant pride in making your babies as comfortable as possible while their parents are away and being accommodating to their needs. Every animal requires a different level of care and affection and I give each one what they need to be happy and comfortable. For the timid ones, I can provide a quite place for them to relax and de stress and for the hyper ones I have two dogs that love to play, and lots of toys and mental/physical stimulation to keep them happy.

A typical day
It’s important to keep pets stimulated both physically and mentally which can include walks, kongs, snuffle mats, and play time. Of course relaxing will also be a part of the day! It’s crucial to me that I personalize their time to best suit their needs to give them the best time.
