I am very big on giving animals lots of love and affection! I know oftentimes pets can get anxiety when their owners are away, so I follow a routine the animals can depend on so they know they are getting their needs met by me everyday. I get a sense of what their normal routines are and try not to stray from these as much as possible so there is still consistency in the animals’ lives.

Please let me know if there are any specific needs your dog may have that most dogs might not need! Additionally, please let me know what the normal times I would need to let the dog out or feed the dog would be so I can plan ahead and try to maintain the routine for your animal. Also if there are any medications that I would have to administer I would like to know!

I like to go on long walks with dogs who are able-bodied enough to do so. I grew up in Midland so I know a lot of good trails to take dogs. Additionally, I like to play fetch with dogs who have a lot of energy so either in someone’s yard or finding a nearby field or park to do so is something I like to do with dogs. I also like to practice tricks with dogs who can do tricks! I play with my cats daily and cuddle with them, so I can do the same with friendly cats as well! :)

I grew up taking care of my neighbors’ pets which was more like a zoo. They had dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards, fish, and even a ferret. I have been an animal lover all of my life and have continued to pet sit for friends and family over the years. Additionally, I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and have a lot of experience cleaning and providing care for multiple animals at one time. I also have owned cats my whole life and have a lot of experience taking care of dogs as well!

Abby has been wonderful with our puppy! Very good at communicating with us and always sends the cutest pictures!
Abby did an amazing job with our 3 pets at our house! They were well cared for and house was left immaculate!
Abby is a responsible, caring pet lover! She is great at following routine, meeting pets’ needs, and giving them lots of love!! Abby has lots of experience pet sitting and house sitting. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive pet sitter!
