I cared for my own senior dog before he passed (a 17+ year Corgi/Dachshund mix. I miss him so much!), so I understand how important patience, consistency, and attention to detail can be. I’m comfortable with regular walks, slower pacing, feeding routines, and making sure medications are given on time when instructed. In a client’s home, I follow their directions closely, keep pets calm and comfortable, and make sure doors, leashes, food, water, and any special instructions are handled carefully.

Aaron was very patient with my senior dog. At almost 18 years old, you have to have a lot of care and patience with old dogs’ quirks. I could see my senior doxy was friendly to him on the camera on repeat walks.

Schedule
I currently work on a flexible, self-directed schedule from home while writing a book, which allows me to be available for weekday walks and drop-in visits. I’m especially able to help with midday, afternoon, and early evening visits, and I’m happy to work with pet parents on consistent recurring routines when schedules align.
