“Sonja is an absolute joy to have. I am glad that we found her. Bruno loves walking with her. The pictures that she takes say it all. Would recommend Sonja to all my friends and would continue to use her if she didn’t have to move. We will miss her!”

“Jewell was absolutely amazing with my dogs! 🐾 She cared for them like they were her own and kept me updated the whole time. My pups were happy, calm, and clearly adored her. I highly recommend Jewell to anyone looking for a loving, reliable pet sitter!”

“Review in one word: PERFECT Review in paragraph: When I first reached out to Caroline she set up a visit to meet our girl and get an idea of our expectations as well as our home (impressed - no one else did this). She is available at a moments notice, spends more time than expected, walks, plays fetch, sends numerous pictures (loveee) and last but not least writes the most AMAZING stories about their time together. Currently trying to convince her to write a book....long story short - she's the best dog sitter I've ever had and I won't use anyone else. She goes above and beyond and always makes us more than thrilled that our pup spends time with her.”

About: I have years of personal and volunteer experience caring for both dogs and cats. I raised and cared for two small Schnauzers, and I’ve also looked after about three medium-sized and two large dogs, taking them on walks and making sure they got plenty of exercise and attention. I volunteered at a dog shelter where I helped feed, walk, and care for the dogs regularly. I also cared for the cats at the shelter, ensuring they were clean, fed, and happy. At home, I’ve taken care of my grandmother’s cats—brushing them, feeding them, and spending quality playtime with them. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and always treat them with love, patience, and responsibility. My schedule is very flexible, as I run my own business and manage my own time. I spend a lot of time at home, which allows me to give pets the attention, care and companionship they need throughout the day. I’m available for walks, feeding, playtime, and any other specific routines your pet may have Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where animals can feel safe and relaxed. I always follow any specific instructions from the owner, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. I take the time to build trust with each pet, going at their pace and making sure they feel comfortable around me. Whether it’s keeping dangerous items out of reach, supervising outdoor time, or simply providing a quiet, cozy space to rest, I’m committed to creating a safe and loving atmosphere. Communication with pet owners is also key — I always keep them updated and informed.
“Daelia took such good care of my baby! She was communicative, followed instructions, and sent photos. She even took care of her in the days following her spay surgery. Thank you again!”

Snowbirds here through April 1. Have come to Sarasota last 13 years. Took the leap to be here Oct through April. We have a new puppy a Westie named Wallace who loves it here. I would provide walking services only since we are in an apartment downtown. Would prefer to work downtown area. There are so many parks and great locations to walk.
“Abry was great with my Dog . Felt safe letting her take my boy. She did a great job with him and he’s not the easiest dog to walk. Big and strong and mind of own on where he wants to walk.”

Have plenty of time to hangout with your furry friends. Can make it work and hopefully make it easy for you. I have my own place but my dog doesn’t enjoy having other dogs in her space. About: I’ve taken care of my dogs and cats since I was 15. I am able to walk, feed, bathe, and play with tour loved ones! I have never had any issues with my animals nor my friends animals either! Your animals will always have a fun time getting to play with me and constantly entertained. Due to being in healthcare, my schedule is different every week but I’m usually free at least 4 days a week, but you can find available days on my calender. But, I also work night shift so I am able to have some additional flexibility on shift days, especially in the morning! I live near a dog park and have a large neighborhood for long walks. I currently live in an apartment complex with a dog park and there is plenty of space around the complex to spend time and let energy out. My boyfriend is also home with me every third day due to his rotating paramedic schedule but he has cared for his two family dogs most his life and thoroughly enjoys spending time with animals.
About: Howdy! I’m Taylor — a Registered Nurse, lifelong animal lover, and devoted pet parent. I’ve spent nearly two decades caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. As a teen, I was known as the go-to neighborhood pet sitter and walker. I grew up with a 100-lb Golden Retriever, an 8-lb mixed breed, and a 10-lb calico cat, so I’m comfortable with everything from gentle giants to tiny cuddle-bugs. I also have professional dog walking experience with high-energy huskies to Rottweilers. Today, I’m a proud cat mom to three spoiled cats! My nursing background means I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and fully committed to providing safe, reliable care. Whether your pet needs extra snuggles, medication, slow introductions, a structured routine, or just a friendly face, I’ve got you covered. I go above and beyond to make sure your fur baby receives the kind of VIP care I would want for my own — attentive, loving, and stress-free. For all of my services, I will jog/run with your dog (dependent on breed, personality, & tolerance). If requested or approved by you, I will drive your dog to a park or nature preserve for a nature walk and change of scenery. Typically Red Bug Slough is my go-to. To ensure your dog(s) gets the most out of these services, the drive time to and from the park will NOT be included in the cost. Your pet’s comfort and safety will always come first. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾 My day job is very flexible & I love to be outside. As an animal lover, what better way to enjoy the outdoors and animals than a nice walk or playtime? Dogs: - potty breaks at least three times daily - playing catch or “chase” outside - walks at least twice a day- more if your dog is prone to the “zoomies”. Cats: - clean the litter box once daily - sanitize and disinfect food bowl/ water bowl/ and litter box(es) weekly - play with ribbons and feather toys - lots of catnip - walks outside if your cat is high-energy (ie. bengal)
