About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

Grayson had a nice, gentle dog to play with, they took him for play and walks every day, and it was clear they gave him plenty of personal attention. Grayson is a very easy dog, but doesn't adjust easily when we or our son (his main owner) are not at home. But he was so happy with Michele and her husband that he didn't want to leave when we picked him up. Michele's communication was very clear and totally reliable. No changes, adjustments, etc. Thank you!”

About: Ive been around animals since I was young. My puppy is turning 4 this year, his name is Alvah! Since having him i’ve developed skills in training puppies, grooming, walking, bathing, feeding, playing, and overall care that animals deserve. I’ve been around blind dogs and senior animals who need medications or extra support. The number one thing i’ve learned is listening to my intuition. An animals demeanor, look in their eyes, body language, and energy says more than words ever could. Sometimes it feels like I know that they are thinking! I believe there is something special about connecting with another creature outside of your own species. That being said I adore all animals of any gender, size, age, condition, and personality:) I currently work two jobs, both part time. My days off are Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday and Thursday I tend to work night shifts but that is not consistent as my schedule changes based on what my job needs. Friday-Sunday I work during the day and usually have the evenings to myself after 4pm. On the bright side both of my jobs are flexible and understanding. If there are any concerns about time or availability please feel free to communicate that with me and we can work it out! I live in a basement apartment, there is a fenced yard. The neighborhood is great for walks, and there are fun trails in the area. The family I rent from does have a small high energy dog, but it is rare that we are in the backyard at the same time. As for my puppy he goes back and forth between my family and I. So if your pet likes company or is better alone, either works! I try to walk him 2-3 times a day and he goes out to do his business every 1-2 hours. If there are certain instructions you have for your pet or home rest assured I will follow them! I am a clean and organized person in my home and in others. I believe communication and honesty is so important, for both parties to feel safe and happy.

“I brought my dog Emilie to two other Rover “meet ups” before finding a sitter we felt happy to leave our girl with…Katelyn! Our dog is older so we wanted no small children or rowdy dogs in the home, and a fenced yard. Katelyn ticked all the boxes, and when we met her she felt like a great fit. We just picked Emilie up from her second stay within the last month, and she made it obvious she did not want to leave. That is the sign of a happy dog and a great sitter. We’re very relieved to have found Katelyn.”

About: I’m a dog owner myself. I have been around many dogs for the past 6 years. I’m caring and I adapt to your dog needs. I’m currently a student, mostly at home. I’m hiking daily and Jack’s always come along on the mountain, we can bring your dog too and have dog’s date. I have a fenced backyard and I have a second crate if it’s needed for your dog. My home is a very dog friendly place.
