About: I had a miniature dachshund that was my best friend that I cared for, for 13 years who passed away from diabetes in 2024. I have dog sat for two high energy Catahoula dogs, who I love dearly, for about two years now. I have experience with walking, drop-ins, and overnight stays! I am currently a college student pursuing my degree in fashion completely online. Since I can do my class work at my own pace I am free to pet sit 7 days a week! I currently do not have any pets so your fur baby will have me all to theirselves! I do have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to play. I am very attentive when caring for pets in their home as well. I am always aware of their needs like needing to be let out, to be played with, or more food or water.

“We are very pleased with our Rover experience. April was everything we hoped for (but not sure we would get). She is kind and considerate and attentive. She made sure that we were comfortable with leaving our kids with her. She contacted us regularly and sent us pictures and videos of our babies. April noticed when our little girl was not feeling well and got Merry to the vet for a check up. Merry had a UTI and could have gotten very ill had April not acted so quickly. April did a great job caring for our home and plants as well. We will be requesting April to sit for us in the future. About: Along with the confident ability to provide the best care for your fur babies, I have experience working as a veterinary assistant, and I begin vet tech school in the fall! Being a dog mom myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your fur babies for any amount of time. I hope that as your potential pet sitter, I will be able to give you as much peace of mind as possible when doing so. My promise is to treat each of your animals as they were my own—with love, patience, and compassion! Being experienced in the veterinary field, I also have the ability and training to care for senior pets, pets who may be diabetic, take medications, etc. As a student, My schedule has gaps in it that do allow for me to care for your pet multiple times a day. This will give me time to care for your pet as you request! I have a fenced in yard that your pet will be able to have supervised play time as much as they would like! I am extremely flexible. However you typically go about your day with your pet, I will do my best to keep that routine for the comfort of your pet!
